Yeah i am just a bit sad that they didn't detailed the story between Rose and Fu Jia Ming. Everything just happened so fast like how they fell in love. It would be more satisfying if their story built up like the first two. Just my opinion, no hate towards the drama at all. Loved the drama.
After everything she's gone through and experienced, the last time we see Nan Ya is with a shot of her in prison..I…
Yeah, it's just the cops and I agree that people are just going to continue hating her no matter what. Now even people like Gu Xiang Yi and Qing Li are going to hate her because what happened to Zhou Luo and everyone is still going to blame her. Yeah and Ling Fang Lu is just a very complicated person. There was a scene in the earlier episodes where he woke up and then stopped the alarm on the clock, which changed the position of the clock. Then he went out and then came back just to put the clock back up right. From this we can see that he is such a person who demands perfection and can get annoyed if things don't go well for him. So i think he cried because he thought Zhou Luo was the killer and then he wanted to free Nan Ya and clean her name by finding the truth and blaming everything on Zhou Luo. But his thoughts were wrong which caused a even worse consequence for Nan Ya. That is why he cried? LOL i still don't understand him so I am coming up with all those different theories.

Yes it was so sad. I feel so bad for the character. Even if they decided to put her in prison, at least show us a happy ending with her, Zhou Luo and Wan Wan in the end. In the end, they did show that Ling Fang Lu found out the truth and brough back justice to Nan Ya but she has already spend 6 precious years of her life in prison. That scene just made Ling Fang Lu looked like a hero and did not focus on Nan Ya's justice. In the CCTV version, after the crying scene of Ling Fang Lu, Old chen did say that "If it wasn't for this, then no one would have known the truth about the miserable life that Nan Ya has gone through." I think that was really good and wonder why didn't they put that in the original version. The CCTV ending was quite okay but not very satisfying too.
I Just watched the ep2, is there romance with ML and FL here or just more on thrilling part.?
The beginning 10 episodes are about the male lead chasing the female lead. The middle part of the drama is more about solving the crime, finding clues and flashbacks. The romance and love story of the leads continues at the final few episodes.
Is there any drama like this? with more romance?I loved their chemistry and their love story was so beautiful.…
Yeah i agree that the chemistry is so good. They truly need another drama together. I have not seen much thriller drama with romance like this involved. The love story in this drama is so unique. But if i have to recommend some thriller, mystery drama like this then "Thirty years of dust" and the Taiwanese dramas "light the night" and "The Copycat killer" is quite good. But no much romance.
Web versions ending is awful. It's like even screen writer don't believe in LZ's love for NY. It's like they also…
Yes, he is even willing to sacrifice his future for Nan Ya and protect her fully. Although Xu Yi also killed for Nan Ya but he didn't care for her feelings over all. All he cared was that he wanted her. You can see a bit of his selfishness when they were back at the dorm. However I think it quite is normal for a human (especially a man) reaction to be selfish a little at this point. But then Zhou Luo is extraordinary, even though he is only a teenager, he is very mature emotionally and mentally. He panicked but he made sure he controlled his fear in front of Nan Ya and made her feel safe emotionally and helped her with everything. His true love for Nan Ya made him blind.
I had to go do something light-hearted after the ending, (just finished) because I still felt such pain for Nan…
Yeah but I don't want to blame the director too. They said he filmed 3 alternative endings and I think he had to use this because of the chinese censorship thing. I think it would have been more flexible for the director and scriptwriter if it was a Taiwanese or Korean drama.

Same I couldn't even sleep after watching that last episode. First time drama has made me keep thinking about it even in my sleep because of the unbelievable ending. Lol I don't know if that is a good thing or not. The ending for Kdrama "Snowdrop" also made me lose my sleep but that was because it was too sad and it was reasonable for what happened but for this drama is more like a mixture of mad and unsatisfactory.
Romance is not the main thing in this drama but I really like the relationship between the two main leads. It is more like giving support and warmth to each other during the their worst. They know it is impossible between them and it is really heart breaking how the male lead is willing to give up everything for the female lead. It is rare to see this kind of relationship in any drama.
If we compare the character of Zhou Luo and Lin Fang Lu. They both are the tender light for Nan Ya in her life. Nan Ya is a good person, opposite of what everyone in the town talks about her, she cares a lot for the person she loves. She tend to push away both Zhou Luo and Ling Fang Lu because she doesn't want the person she loves to ruin their life and future because of her. Lin Fang Lu was a tender light during her teenage life. She liked him and he also liked her but after she gone though the nightmare, Lin Fang Lu was not there for her. He wasn't brave enough to give her warmth and care. . Nan Ya also didn't want him to walk into the dark so she told him all those harsh words and didn't show her true feelings to let him give up and he just gave up easily. Zhou Luo is also a tender light who gave her warmth during her lowest time. When everyone in the town hated and disliked her, only Zhou Luo understood her and show her love and care. She also rejected Zhou Luo even harsher than how she did it to Ling Fang Lu, but Zhou Luo was always there for her. I think that is why she gradually fall deeper with him. As a consequence, Ling Fang Lu lived a good life but with regrets and Zhou Luo lives a miserable life but with no regrets for what he did for Nan Ya. I think in real life, most of the people will react like how Ling Fang Lu did. It will be really rare to find someone like Zhou Luo who would give up on everything just for someone else.
More like an open ending. since wanwan is with zhou lou, nan ya will definitely end up with him after coming out…
Yeah, I just didn't like how they turned a good character into a villain with just a few episodes. He was like Nan Ya's tender light during her teenage life. Nan Ya liked him as a teenager. He was kind of like the main reason why she got raped. In a certain episode when she got back to school, Nan Ya asked Lin Fang Lu if he was waiting for her that night or not. He could have said "yes" but I feel like he wasn't brave enough so he said he was just waiting for the rain to stop. Nan Ya was at the very emotionally down at that time and he wasn't brave enough to show his care and love for her so I guess Nan Ya got more upset. He had his chance to help Nan Ya all his life but he wasn't brave enough or is not willing to sacrify for her. Then there is Zhou Luo who is ready to give up everything for Nan Ya.
I was pretty mad with the ending, mostly because it felt forced, like they were trying to pass the usual -propaganda-…
Yeah, I don't understand why they added the crying scene too. He told his story meaning that he understand why Nan Ya wanted to kill Xu Yi because he was in her shoes too. So did he cry because he was sorry for Nan Ya or because he couldn't do anything to help Nan Ya or what? Ahhhh i just can't understand him. Just like you said at the first half of the drama he was trying so hard to help Nan Ya. Then he helped by finding evidence that gave reasons why Xu Yi would want to kill Nan Ya and she accidentally killed him. My thoughts for LFL was that he is a good person and felt pity for his relationship with Nan Ya. He was Nan Ya's tender light during her teenage life. But he wasn't brave enough to show his love and care for her. He had many chance to save her but he didn't so I think he has no right to cry if he felt guilty for what he did. The second half just messed up his character and did he actually think Nan Ya purposely killed Xu Yi ? Why the hell did he capture Zhou Luo and send Chen Ling to lie to Nan Ya? If he wanted to help Nan Ya then why would he force Nan Ya to speak out her crime in this way? Or did he believe that Zhou Luo killed Xu Yi for Nan Ya? If that is true then why would Nan Ya come and commit. Even if she used Zhou Luo's feeling then why would she leave her daughter and then come commit. If he thought Zhou Luo killed or Nan Ya killed, I didn't see a single bit of feeling that he wanted to help Nan Ya.
i really can't calm down. Nan Ya suffered from men (and misogynistic women too) her whole life, she was raped,…
Zhou Luo was a "science" guy but after he met Nan Ya, he fell in love with art and beauty. He is willingly to change his career for Nan Ya to make more money so yeah I agree with you that he will live a happier life if he had Nan Ya and I guess that is the reason why he smiled at last even though he is living in such a miserable town. Yeah and also for Xu Yi , I think he truly loved Nan Ya but in a way that he is obsessed with her in a bad way (like he wanted her to be one of his belongings) and not like Zhou Luo who just wanted to make her happy and escape from those miserable things.
More like an open ending. since wanwan is with zhou lou, nan ya will definitely end up with him after coming out…
True, he told that he likes to read detective stories because he love to learn about the dark side of humans. However, he himself doesn't know his dark side.
