One can never comprehend the full truth as it stands on a mountain of convoluted emotions, complicated human relations…
Yeah totally agree it deserves more attention. This drama is realistic and the character's emotions are relatable. I wish they could produce more this kind of drama instead of many romantic comedy genres.
More like an open ending. since wanwan is with zhou lou, nan ya will definitely end up with him after coming out…
Yeah, at first he believed Nan Ya's self defend when everyone was thinking that Nan Ya purposely killed Xu Yi. After all the evidence came out, even Detective Chen started to believe that Nan Ya was self defending but then Lin Fang Lu started to think in a different way. From then on I don't understand whether he is being professional or just jealous of Zhou Luo. Or did he though that Zhou Luo was the killer and then he wanted to save Nan Ya by putting Zhou Luo in jail.

Yeah I agree, they should show her being happy, at least free. I hate that they still end up in that town. Really sad when Nan Ya lied that she killed Xu Yi just because she wanted to save Zhou Luo. Lin Fang Lu ruined their lives. It was clear that Xu Yi killed himself and no one would believe if Nan Ya said that. So clear of Zhou Luo to come up with an idea of self-defend but I think due to the jealousy of Lin Fang Lu the plan was ruined. He didn't believe the love of Zhou Luo for Nan Ya and felt guilty that he couldn't protect her when he was Zhou Luo's age. The show really did a great job on showing the evil side of human. I noticed that almost every character in the show had an evil side and they are really relatable to the real world. It is rarely seen in nowadays dramas and movies.
I mean if they are bias over the succeeding of the Chinese Police Force, don't make it look forceful and unrealistic for the ending. I don't quite understand what Ling Fang Lu is thinking. At first he didn't believe Nan Ya when she said it was self-defend but later on he and his team believed immediately after she said she killed him. Why don't they investigate more like how they did in the beginning? At first I though Ling Fang Lu wanted to help Nan Ya but he sent Chen Ling to Nan Ya to just lie about Zhou Luo's condition. What is he expecting Nan Ya to admit?(Was he expecting this result) If he wanted to help Nan Ya then even if Nan Ya was the one who killed Xu Yi he should have settled down with the self-defend thing. And then why was he crying in the end, because he feel guilty for doing that? Although at last he did fix the tape and proved that Nan Ya is innocent but the still put Nan Ya in jail for 6 years and ruining the life of two families. Really loved his character in the beginning but i just don't get why he did that? Is it for Nan Ya or himself? Overall this drama is so good 10/10, the best mystery thriller drama I have seen after "the copycat killer". All the acting, even for side characters like Liu Xun's dad, Nan Ya's stepmom, Xu Jian, the doctor and so on was so good, the chemistry between the leads, the friendship between Zhou Luo and his friends and Nan Ya and Chen Ling (in the beginning) was so beautiful and touching. Moreover, the beautiful landscape scenes and vibes that it gives is just so different from other Chinese dramas. Just because it is so perfect until the very last minute, it make me feel so furious and sad for giving this type of ending. I can't accept and move on from it, until now.
Yup, they just left an opening ending for Zhou Luo and Zhang Qing Li but not with Nan Ya. But Zhou Luo is still with Wan Wan so i guess he is probably waiting for Nan Ya.
Honestly from every point of view, story, acting, cinematography this is the one of the best things I have watched…
Yes, how each of the characters is connected on that New Year Night is just perfectly shown. They have been showing piece and piece of evidence throughout the drama and episode 27 just wrap everything up and made everything clear. It is just perfect for the way it is shown :the tension, background music, timeline and emotion of each character. This drama really deserves more recognition.
LFL sent Chen Ling to lie to Nan Ya that Zhou Luo has pleaded guilty as the police were suspicious of the knife wound. (actually Zhou Luo didn't) So Nan Ya went to the police station and said she was the one who killed Xu Yi and Zhou Luo was just a part of her plan to get away with the murder. Nan Ya got sentenced for 10 years and Zhou Luo for 10 months. 6 Years later, they show that Zhou Luo didn't leave the town and opened a Game Store at Nan Ya's old clothing shop. Later on the police fixed the tape and found out that Xu Yi killed himself. So Nan Ya's years were reduced. But they didn't show Nan Ya and Zhou Luo together in the end.
I think the drama made a good balance for the revelation of evidences and hints in each episode, making it hard to guess of what really happened and make me make different guesses after every episode.
