I personally loved it!!! Super cute and fluffy, and I became a fan of PBG (sooo swoon-worthy), KYJ and also JJY (ugh SLS hit me hard, even though I always root for the ML). Like someone said, the cinematography is really quite excellent; a visual pleasure! Is is the most intriguing, dramatic drama? Nope! But for someone like me who wants something light and swoony with a HEA, give this a go!
Just finished this today, and thought it was pretty good. Is is the best drama of 2018? Probably not, but it's a sweet rom-com if you like that sort of thing. I really enjoyed the first half of the show, but the second half (eps 14,15) suddenly took a turn and kinda turned into a melodrama... which I didn't really understand. It's still a HEA, but the added angst didn't really fit in with the show's lighthearted vibe. I also definitely had SLS, even though I liked the ML. Started watching because of KYJ but stayed for SJR and YKS haha
Just finished this today and I am in LOVE!!! one of my fave dramas!! It's not necessarily the best-made drama, but for those wanting a super fluffy romance, this is for you! I was hesitant to watch this because of mixed reviews and some people saying the leads have no chemistry, but I really think it depends on the viewer, because I thought their chemistry was great. No unnecessary drama being dragged on for 5 eps, and even the cliches were done right. Really enjoyed Zhang Yu Xi's performance, and will definitely watch more of her. If you want an intense, complicated plotline, with lots of drama, this isn't for you!! But if you're like me and love fluffy, happy dramas with amazing kiss scenes, this is for you!! You can't ignore the high ratings of 8.3 (well high for a rom-com), so if you're hesitating, give it a go! You might hate it, or you might just LOVE IT!!
Finished this in like 2-3 days and I absolutely LOVED it!! So many cliche plots/tropes, but it was done so well, it didn't feel forced or boring. Basically a super fluffy and cute series, with little to no drama... aka my cup of tea :D
