I just watched watched ep 23 and 24. I didn't get the plot that Feng and Tang were hatching against Hu Fei. Did Tang give the house and servants to Hu, who then turned around, and sold the house and freed the servants, and fed the poor?

Shang Phantom of the Opera is so boring. He has no expression. Is it a case of bad acting, or just mask acting? Is Fu planning to kill the birth mother and husband, and proclaim the twins his biological sons? The female in his palace won't like the news.

I loved when Hu Fei and Lady Cheng dressed up in their new clothes. They were bathing in rose water, in the same bath sauna. Too funny!

I am disappointed that ep 24 ended. The six episodes this week zipped by quickly.

That was so disappointing. She was crying when they swore their oath to the Heavens.

I have heard Peter Ho's name somewhere, but have never seen his work before Fox Volant. He seems to occupy one-third of the screen. His character's pretentious acting is so fake.

I thought Nanlan and Tian Guinong, and Feng Father and Son were boring, but Scarface is more boring than them.

The fight sequences are cinematic quality.

We are all on the same page regarding Tian Guinong and Nanlan. Does MRF know that TGN has despised him for decades? I suspect that TGN put the poison on the sword to kill Hu Yidao, to frame him for the murder.

If I had to rank the characters, Tian Guinong an NanLan would be at the very bottom of the list. Tian is such a patronizing, overacting boor and an oaf. His scenes in episode 22 were nauseating. Master Fu saw through his fake act. Tian seems to take up most of the screen, with his bulkiness.

The fight scene with HF and MRF in ep 22 was the best. I don't know why Fourth Uncle Ghost appears to HF. He should remain on the other side. Lady Cheng is too cute. She and HF should end up together since Ziyi is sworn nun and sect leader.

Did you check the Tencent Video channel? There are 16 episodes, I believe.

No surprise about loud music drowning out the dialog. C-drama directors, editors, music supervisors must be tone deaf.

Same here! I wish Viki had a way to increase the speed of the episode. I do this on YT channel videos.

Thanks for the reply. Tian Guinong could be a sleeper villain. He will turn into a psycho as the drama continues. I just watched episode 16. What's up with Gollum...the creepy guy in the coffin in the cave?

Tian Guinong is getting more screen time than Maio Ren Feng, for some reason. Will he be the one who put the poison on the sword, to kill Hu Fei's father and frame Miao for his death? I think Tian said he was jealous of Miao all his life. He might have done that, to get rid of Miao.

Miao has not aged in twenty years. He looked about the same age as Master Hu in episode 1. Is Maio in his 40s or 50s?

I will check it out tomorrow. it might have been the Joseph Zeng drama, Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre, where I saw him. 2019 is a while ago. 😁😁😁
