I was starting to feel the drag ep 14. I hope today's episodes pick up the pace. Nanlan and Tian slow down the plot. Nanlan has a silly Dutch girl hairstyle.

PBEL embellished the FJ and DJ side story, to stretch it into fifty-four episodes. They neglected Mo Yuan, which would have made the drama very interesting.

The PB drama is vastly different, so there was no continuity... only three actors from PBEL.

Maybe, NL should have told the servants to find MRF immediately, because the daughter had a fever. This could have improved the relationship between NL and MRF.

Wasn't Peach Blossoms Ten Miles Eternal Love created in a similar fashion? EL was a short story, then writer went back and wrote a detailed Pillow Book?

I think if the ML was a Top 10 star, the comments would climb.

I watched the first ten episodes continuously until 5AM. I didnt sleep more than a few hours afterwards. The drama has high production values, and the adrenalin is flowing. I hope it does not slow down, and become boring. The frenetic pace of the fight scenes reminds me of a Donnie Yen or Jet Li high impact martial arts movie.

If this drama continues the high production quality to the end, I would be glad to see the sequel story. The first ten episodes whizzed by in the blink of an eye. The Feng story was an episode too long. 😆😆😆

Same here! I was surprised to learn she picked up with the Leader, but a widow with a baby, has no future. I liked Maio's house. I could see Leader had his eye on her when he first showed up in the drama.

Ths old bat lady was cray cray, and annoying. I would be glad if she was dead. Is Shang with the eye mask at the funeral wake, her son?

Does Ma Chun Hua show up later in this drama? I was wondering what happened to her.

While I was watching ep 10, I thought she was the best choice to be Master of the Weitou sect, but becoming a nun at the end means the ML and FL do not end up together. 😒🤨

I used to wonder whay Qi Ming always had intel on people and events that happened years ago. I am sure they did not have efficient communication channels back in the 1930s. Situ should have suspected him from the beginning.
