It appears that Emperor Xia and Empress Dowager are blood related, but Xia Jing Shi is not a blood relative of Empress Dowager. She doesn't seem to approve of Jing Shi. She treats him the same way Susha Empress treats Feng Sui Ge.

They have been on the same page, but she might not divulge Masked Man's identity.

I wonder what he will do when he finds out about Masked Man. I assume Fu Yi Xiao won't tell him about Masked Man's true identity. They have been so frank with each other. It's disappointing. I haven't listed Masked Man's name, for those people who are still watching the earlier episodes.

What is PM Zhang's grand ambition/plan? (edited)

It would be hilarious if Minister of Rites was the boss. He's the court jester.

I was very intrigued with 1 to 16. Perhaps it was because I binge watched them in three consecutive days. I can't recall most of 17 to 20. Chief Female Assassin was boring.

Will they die together, and have a romantic death song with flashbacks?

Best comment of the day! LOL

Second Prince acts like he is 12 to 15 years' old. Mother Empress hasn't been training him properly to be the next Emperor.

Princess Feng Delulu went from grand palace to slum palace. Did she figure out yet that she took a big demotion, going to Jinxiu with Prince Xia Delulu?

I haven't figured out who he is really working for. I have been ignoring him most of the time. Is PM Shuang working with Emperor Xia?

When I see the three kids together, I think of Fu, Ning and Other Guy as assassin trainees.

When they stand together, she doesn't look 14cm shorter than him. LOL

I thought the same thing. He's a degenerate.

I fast forwarded the drunk dialogs. That Snake Steve is just as annoying to watch, as Fang Lei. I dont pay attention to his moments on screen.

They bonded quickly. At least the writer gave Yu Ming something else to do, besides being the hospital doctor.

50-50 odds! They need a reason to reconcile.

The drunken acting was cringing, but the writer needed an excuse to get the ML and FL together. The reunion didn't last long. FL should not blame ML for seducing her, because she literally threw herself at him. She really wanted to go "home".

Is Slimy Snake Steve working for Fang Lei's father? Has Fang waited twelve years to avenge his older daughter's pregnancy and death? The Shen and Fang family had a recent business collaboration, which would make it easier for Fang to gain the upper hand. "The enemy is in front of your nose, Shen!"

He views the son as a threat, but he views him as his good son. Emperor is confused. The wife Empress really has him wrapped around her finer.

When I watch his scenes, my first thought is, "so handsome". When he starts to act belligerent, "you're delulu".
