glory of tropes done well
While i totally enjoyed this - at least for the first half or so, because it started to feel too long after that - i still dont get the logic behind comedy-turned-melodrama and i-met-my-true-love-in-kindergarten clichés/mannerism.
The actors look good - i know a few of them from other works - , the camera work is at its best, but the drama somehow becomes nonsensical and dragging. The 2nd couple could've been WAY better than it actually is, but instead we get a bunch of tropes, like unexpected pregnancy, clingy parents that hunt down the first guy their daughter brings home, one-night-stand turned into responsibility etc. How big the probability is that the accidental "lover" gets to discover the pregnancy before his gf?? Dropping the pregnancy test here and there where anyone can find it is such a cheap trick... Havent we moved on from the glorious era of lakorns at all??
