Oh yes! That mysterious lady! I too believe that is QL's mother. QL's sole connection to this entire thing cannot be with just Xu Jinyang, i wonder about his backstory, about his family which hasn't really been explored at all till now.

All the clues in the drama through a Time line way:
1. There is no parallel world or dimension and there was NEVER any time travel (Qi lian's speculations were true)
2. This the same Xiaoyuan as the one QL loves. Both the people are same. There is no parallel world version of her.
3. Xiaoyuan after she and QL got separated in high school went to Chongqing for college and there she met Rui and Bo yu
4. Xiaoyuan the FL, she was originally not a saint or had a very likeable personality (hinted...) She was born poor, in the countryside, and after high school, when she met rui, she was envious of her easy life, Bo yu by her side, while she had to constantly sturggle through her whole life to make her ends meet and take care of her sick grandmother.
5. Bo yu cheats on Rui with Xiaoyuan, which disrupts rui and XY's friendship. While XY's grandmother falls ill gravely on the other side.
6. I feel that QL's crush had always been one sided and XY never had loved or crushed on him in high school. As mentioned she was only obsessed with Bo yu, which was also due to her envy for Rui
7. Now comes the entire experiment thing. The Lighthouse or whatever the project is, is a neuroscience research project where there is VR testing(?) XY needed money, Bo yu needed money too I am guessing and they both came across this need for test subjects for this Virtual reality experiment. They both applied and XY received a hefty sum of money which she gave to her grandmother as mentioned. (1 YEAR AGO)
8. I believe this experiment or game whatever this is is based on what the test subject desires most and want to enjoy. The world 2025 which we see was XY's VR, where she was rich, had all the things for herself, with Jiang (who in real world had already passed away) as her dad (a CEO dad like
Rui's in real world)
9. Something went wrong (like both bo yu and XY were trapped in 2025 VR this part had me confused as well)
10. The phones were perhaps given to the test subjects and each creator had them as well? The contract XY and Bo yu had signed or perhaps didn't know that their memory would be altercated/erased and the time limit would be just ONE YEAR. That is why XY has no memories of QL, zhou, Rui, or her school/college mates or even her grandmother.

What i don't understand is how Xu fits in all this. Is he one of the creators? Referencing to his statement, "I can escape this world whenever i like.. " to QL maybe referencing to the fact that he can escape to the 2025 VR. He can't be one of the test subjects because he is too aware. Was he the one who helped XY and Bo yu to break free from the VR and come back to the Real world before one year contract ended? Idk. What do you all think?

She does get a LOT better trust me. I hated her character in the early episodes. But she has a genuine and good character development.

Ohk- I watched the preview again and again. There is something I noticed. The two guys in a relationship could be wonseok and sejin, BUT- from the camera taking the pic, we see that one guy was wonseok, more of his body type and another guy was A BIT LANKY LIKE GI OSUNG? Its pretty weird and I can be wrong. Sejin, wonseok and jaebum, and more of the buffier body type, and osung is the only one lanky out there, so what if- what if- osung and wonseok were in a relaltionship and jaebum was the one threatening to expose them? Sejin caught them on, ( taking the pic) and told it to jaebum who threatened them? that is why osung pushed him off the building? Idk-

This theory still does not add some relevant plot points. None of them do actually.

QD had been a concubine, who through crook had made her son the king. She never got a chance to be the queen and was jealous of the queen cause she had the control of inner courts. Also, Queen after getting married came to know that QD,her mother in law was not really a person with good views and found Queen yoon to be kind, calm, and generous, which made QD hate both queen and Yoon, when she saw her growing fondness on the queen yoon instead of her own mother in law.

It was then she started hating them and plotting with consort hwang to replace her. And, when none of the GP were turned out to be worthy enough for CP, she got a leverage cause BG and US were better. Also, I never really think she really liked The original CP. He had been just a pawn for her to start her final plans, starting with killing him of, because the CP during Yoon's time was also killed in a similar way and it was how ultimately Yoon was thrown out of the palace.

Okay, Cheong ha grew upon me. I like her. Its a good enthusiasm and also, a perfect refreshment being a total opposite to Seongnam's personality. I just hope for Seongnam's sake they dont kill her off in the end, and make him remember her through a sunrise. That boy already went through a lot.

I think Seongnam only found cheong ha, intriguing and amusing at first, and felt only gratitude for helping to get the medicine for Late CP. But after the counting sticks gift, I think his heart melted a little, because he had not thought that she would remember something he told her so importantly, and even did her best to get it for him.
