When I first started the drama, I couldn't skip the intro because it was so beautiful...sad and calm. But, now after watching 9 eps....Now when I see the intro...what I feel is pure pain... I relate it to the scenes... like when the paperplane flies over the window of 207 room (Suho climbing up bloodily and youngro climbing up to it in the first ep) The letter box place for girls ( youngro waiting for her letter) That phone counter with the phone in it (Boon ok) When I see the church scene in the intro ( recent church hassle angst between youngsoo) Suho's pic in red, and the escape route of the dorm that youngro drew for him the dorm building with police lights... the shadows of the NK spies with guns... That matchstick structure😭💔 many more... but honorable mention... that attic place where suho was kept and also the rooftop shadow thing of youngsoo... 💔💔😭😭 Its pure pain, now that you know the symbolics....
Btw...any thoughts on old ajusshi? I dont think his character is limited to what is shown till now... He has some deep link to the "suicide" of the previous dorm owner....And also, miss pi had a weird stare towards him at ep 8 and also his son himself saying, "He's not what you all think about him..." These are not the exact words he said, but it was something similar.... also he blamed his father for his "condition" So...I think I might be overanalyzing, but then again...nothing is without plot twists in snowdrop...
