At this point they should try to do a “River Where The Moon Rises” and get someone in to replace the actor so that the writer and director can have their creative vision come true and we won’t have to see a badly chopped up version.
Actually, one of the strengths of the original was that they used a relatively unknown cast and gave up-and-coming…
I have the same thoughts, what made it so relatable to many people is that the cast looked like regular people in debt which can happen to anyone, I’m not too sure about them bringing in people with the best of looks as not everyone looks like them, obviously 3 out of the whole cast being good looking won’t destroy the show but well known stars and idols being cast in these types of shows takes away from those starting out, as you said I hope I’m proved wrong and it’s a good story.
I don’t care what anyone says this is one of the best action based K-Dramas to come out, the feeling you get when Gunwoo and Woojin are piecing people up with 1-2’s and other boxing combos is unlike any other K-Drama I’ve watched, the rest of them have that fake action feel with their constant cuts when a punch or a kick is supposed to have connected making it obvious that they are not hitting each other, ruining the immersion for me.
I get some of you don't like dramas with bullying that much, but on the other hand, it needs to be talked about...
Nah what happens in Korea shouldn’t be labelled as “bullying” some of those cases are just straight up assault and gbh, the fact that such cases are dismissed and called bullying is a problem in the first place.
One of the only things I would change about this drama is, after Hyungjoo travels back in time the second time to fix everything, we get a quick summary of what he did, catching his partner etc, I feel that this sequence was a bit rushed since it was the final episode and everything so in order to remedy this I think that there should have been 1-2 extra episodes so that we could experience Hyungjoo righting the wrongs of the other time at a better pace and experience it with him as he slowly plans what to do and executes his plans, other than that this is a masterpiece.
TLDR: This part is straight ass, don’t watch it please I’m begging you, this is worse than Possessed. It’s comically bad.
I’m on episode 2 now and the kids are so annoying omfg, you have people raiding your base, stealing your food and all you do is stand there and whisper at each other, wtf happened to your apparent training that you got from the military, I’m so tempted to just drop this tbh.
Edit: Now they’re making it somehow a funny moment, omfg this is so dumb.
Edit 2: I knew Ae Sol would open the gate, it makes no sense though that the kids don’t shoot the prisoners, they literally have them outnumbered, the iron bars have a wide enough gap to shoot through, this writer is dumb af, this is slowly driving me into the depths of insanity.
Edit 3: Why am I doing this to myself, it just gets more and more ridiculous, the inconsistencies are just ridiculous, (I’m halfway through episode 3) this show is officially worse than the shambles that was Possessed. I never thought I would watch a series worse than it but here we are.
Edit 4: Damn this is a long comment lol, I’m on episode 4 now, Their friend just died and they decide to go to an amusement park and act like it never happened, they’ve also got some character assassination going on here, I’ll probably only make 1-2 more edits.
Edit 5: Bro ain’t no way they killed the cleanest mf in here, Il Ha’s death was structured so poorly, and these mf’s believed this dude when he said Il Ha got dragged into the cold water by these spheres, I swear these kids are so stupid, Honestly I hope they all get killed they’re annoying af, they’re always selling fr fr.
Final Edit: LMFAO that guy really shot everybody, this is the worst drama I’ve seen in a long time they knew their writing skills were ass so they did the predictable kill everyone ending, this dude Kimchi standing here saying “Sorry”. What was the point of any of this, what a waste of time, they even forgot about a character and didn’t include him in this season.
