This isa feel-good, slow-paced drama about a woman figuring out what she wants, and people slowly falling in love. I don't understand why there are so many disagreements about who is best for her etc. I'd rather take the drama take me on this journey and see what happens.
ig SHJ is her second daughter like the child she had with the affair man when bia's father was in deathbed
I don't think she was having an affair at all. I feel like maybe it was a publisher or someone and she got a book deal or sth like that. I think the FL just lived all this time hating her mom because of a misunderstanding. Just a theory. xD
The first two episodes were kinda bad, but now I am enjoying it. It's a turn your brain-off and don't-take-it-too-seriously kinda drama. And the ML's cute smile is a plus. The stories of the side characters are also pretty interesting and there's so much emotion to it all.
I just wish they had a different villain than the one they chose. It's too cliche and obvious.
I’m team ml but the costumer did a very terrible job, the ml looks homeless
I actually like how he dresses. It is very different of the typical kdrama MLs, and it shows his personality off well; introverted, reserved and simple. This is the first time that I realized that Park Sung Hoon is so tall. He looks lanky because of the outfits, and the way he carries himself by hunching at times and with closed body language, he really portrays the character so well, and so different from his previous roles.
I almost choked when he said 'we kissed last night', I'm so enjoying this drama, and also excited for next week😁
It was hilarious! I am so excited that he started to fight for her! It would have been really frustrating if he had just kept on being 'considerate' and kept his distance.
I am not a fan of love triangles and avoid them like the plague. But this one is turning out to be super fun! And I actually like both love interests, although it's kinda obvious who the real ML is. It's hilarious at times and the FL is super likeable. The second couple seems pretty good too. Really hope this will stay fun.
I got 'Be Melodramatic' and it's actually one of my favourite kdramas! But also, too bad, cause I was really looking for a recommendation for my next watch. xD
Does anyone else get really emotional watching this drama? 😭 I think I’ve cried more than a couple of times during these five episodes. Like my heart aches for GyeonU all the time, and how SeongA and JiHo care for him and stick to him even when he’s being prickly make my heart so full. This is such a little gem.
They better end this drama well without fumbling the last couple of episodes like they often do nowadays.
I may have to disagree. Pain & misery, joy&love are enough to foster a chemistry so strong that it could burn…
I'd have loved to see what you described translate well into the screen in the drama. But unfortunately, it doesn't. I understand why they fall in love and why they would risk everything for their love etc., but the drama failed to actually show the relationship foster onscreen. The scene where Jae Yi starts crying when she saw that the ML was hurt, came out of nowhere. The show did not explore the conflict of the ML when he had to choose between his found family and the woman he is in love with. It's the little moments like this that show a relationship growing, and it is something that most kdramas do well. But it feels like this drama either ran out of screen time or was written / edited badly to leave out moments that would bring out the best version of it.
I am so annoyed that they didn't focus on that storyline more and instead gave us household / guild politics that…
This makes so much sense. Thank you so much for pointing that out. I still wish they had spent more time on the child abduction plot than the family politics.

My point is that the Snow Man was an unnecessary distraction if they didn't mean to explore it to the end. They could have used that time to show the FL actually falling in love with the ML, and them forming a bond. There was more romance of course, but it was after they had fallen in love. I felt like they mostly fell in love because the plot required them to, since the first few episodes were too busy establishing all kinds of sub plots to give their relationship enough focus.
However, if you liked the romance, this point will not resonate with you. So, agree to disagree. I am glad you enjoyed the romance and the show.

Well then, they shouldn't have made the Snow Man more interesting than the love story. Should have focused more on developing the love story than bringing in an almost fantastical character to mislead the audience into believing there is more to the mystery.
For the people who've watched AOS, is the sword fighting in AOS similar to the one in this dear hongrang series.…
I think you will love the fighting choreography specially in AOS 2. There isn't much of sword fighting by the ML in Season 1 but you should watch both seasons if you liked this series. You won't be disappointed.
Just finished and I’m still waiting for a Snow Man explanation I know I’ll never get
I am so annoyed that they didn't focus on that storyline more and instead gave us household / guild politics that went nowhere and an annoying love triangle! Like who was the Snow Man? What was his deal? Guess we'll never know.
same I am in episode 10 right now. I didn't like the love triangle, there was no chemistry between the ML and…
I felt like the SML being in love with the FL made more sense than whatever the forced bond the leads had. Was low-key hoping she would end up with the SML and the triangle would be done with so we could focus on the other things like who the Snow Man is. xD
