Promising but disapointing

I haven't finished it yet, but not excited to do so.
I saw a lot of people talking about this show and was expecting great things, let's say I'm disapointed.

Story :
Was promising but really disapointing. The characters aren't interesting, the love plot isn't interesting, and the story around the shamans is disapointing as a lot of situations could have been avoided. And from what I've read the last two episodes may be even more deceiving. I don't mind a sad ending, but I hope they don't make it a stupid sad ending.
Characters :

Seong A : Basic female lead in kdrama. I've seen edits where they make her look like a badass female lead : don't fall into it, it's a trap. While she sometimes shows that you can't step on her, she still is a crybaby, and they made her act cute A LOT. It's kinda cringe to see how she acts. But like I said, basic kdrama female lead, especially in a highschool setting. Talking about her shaman experience, while she shows more of her aptitude as the shows goes on, it's nothing crazy. Her backstory is interesting, but they don't show a lot of it, I think they will talk about it more in the last episodes but not sure about it.

Gyeon U : Apart from being cursed by misfortune and having a pretty face, it's an empty character. Nothing interesting about him. He's here, but that's it. I feel like they even rushed his story ? Like growing into misfortune and being rejected from his family because of it make his whole character but they neglicted his back story. Also the death of his grandma ? Apart from one (or two -I don't remember- episodes) where he's followed by a su*cide ghost they don't talk much about it ? Like the person who loved him and raised him died, give us some heartbreaking scenes. I like the evil spirit who possessed him more, because he actually have something crazy : a personality.

Ji Ho : Like Gyeon U, he's here but nothing partiular about him. Also cringe to see how he acts once he realise he loves Seong A : he's third wheeling to hard and somehow he not only accept it but also create situation where he's third wheeling ?

Yeom Hwa : pure evil, but somehow accepted by everyone ? Like they literaly let the wolf into the fold. They tried to create a villain origin story, but nothing groundbreaking.

Love Story :
Two not so interesting characters falling in love. Seong A fell for a pretty face, and Gyeon U fell for her sympathy ? They love kinda started from nowhere and doesn't make an interesting relationship.
And the love triangle is so forced and annoying. Also sorry but the scene where Seong A goes to Gyeon U and Ji Ho competition and only encourages Gyeon U ?? Like girl be nice to the only friend you had pleaaaase.
