Its a very outdated concept. Early Japanese and korean dramas are like this but thank god they grew out of it. Unfortunately this kind of abuse still drives demand from retards.

If anybody wants to know what happens in the first 2 episodes i am putting it in a spoiler below.
2 guys are friends with a rich dude. They invite him drinking and then take him to their house not with any kidnapping purpose but then one of the guy changes his mind bcuz he needs money to get out of a cheating scandal he is involved in his college but the other guy refuses to be involved in kidnapping. The other guy also needs money for a loan so he gradually gets along with the idea and they r keeping that rich dude locked up. It sounds regular but its not. Its really interesting.
