Wasn't Chiang Mai part of Myanmar for almost 200 years between mid 1500 and 1700s?
I appreciate the apology, and I'm happy to leave the personal remarks behind us. But I think you're missing the point when you say this isn't a big deal. Something doesn't have to matter to you personally to matter deeply to someone else.

I'm not asking you to share my opinion or to stop respecting Thai culture. I'm asking you to understand why Burmese people care about how their cultural heritage is represented. Respecting one culture shouldn't require dismissing another's concerns.

You're entitled to think the costumes aren't a big deal. I'm equally entitled to disagree. We can leave it there, but please don't mistake my willingness to end this conversation for a change of heart about the issue. Thanks you.
Have a good day.

You don't get to mock a country's suffering and then pretend to be the mature one because you told someone to relax.

Can't stop laughing. The funniest part is that you think mocking Myanmar's suffering somehow invalidates a Burmese person's concerns about their own cultural heritage. It doesn't. It just shows that when you run out of arguments, basic human decency is the next thing you abandon. Maybe learn the difference between discussing cultural heritage and exploiting a country's struggles for a cheap jab before embarrassing yourself in public again.

Wow. How shameless you're. This is our tradition, clothes and culture Of course we love our country our tradition and our clothes. We have a duty to defend those.
The real shameless person is someone who don't know to respect his / her own country culture and traditions. Maybe you are the also ones who don't respect your own country and traditions. Or maybe your country and people don't have unique traditions and culture. 🤣 So you wouldn't feel the feeling that we're feeling.

So, you are also choose to waste your time to larping other country culture without knowing it? 🤣

Just stfu if you don't know anything. You stupid westerner. Go S*ck your Thai B*lls.

And the dance they're used in their show is our traditional Rakhine dance which uses to dance in traditional Buddhist festivals. That's something that very precious to our country, culture and Buddhist. Not something that can be used to dance in front of boys for flirting.
"Fictional" doesn't mean they can't use other country culture and traditions in their show. Plus the show titan they gave is " Scarlet Heart Thailand". lmfao
We are doing to protect our cultures and traditions. So if you aren't Burmese or aren't familiar with this, please don't take part in this situation.

Look at the posts from X which many Burmese people explained about the traditional clothes. You aren't not even a Thai or Burmese in first place and would like to larp which you even doesn't familiar with it. It's funny. The clothes they used are clearly the clothes from Konbaung dynasty of Myanmar which occurred after Lanna kingdom. Konbaung dynasty clothes and traditions are nothing to do with Thai at all. And even some Thai fans already complained about that.
You are acting like you are the correct one while the only thing you are doing is larping without knowing other country culture..Just stfu if you don't know everything.

This would be more fun if they turn the story into GL in the mid with Gorya and Lita being together.
That's now how original source material works. lol

Honestly I want more he with established stars such as Jung Haein
I'd love to see it. She would be great pair with many star actors.
But I also want to see her with another drama with Ryeoun. Considering Ryeoun is also rising new actor like Ye-Eun.
