I had to look up the Battle of Mingshui since I couldn’t remember who was involved. I was wondering why masked He Ye was with Xiao Jue in the photo. Wow, that’s interesting! I’m excited to see how everything plays out.

For those who have read the novel, I have some questions based on the drama photos:

I understand when Heyan is at Liangzhou Garrison, she wears her grey uniform. So this photo must be after she battles the three “Western Qiang“ intruders, and Xiao Jue arrives in time to save her from Ridamuzi? https://kisskh.at/photos/eY3PzW_3 

Although there’s another snowy evening scene where He Yan gives Xiao Jue his cape, (not in the novel) hugs him, and then faints.
