My Thoughts On: Different Princess
I've been transformed! I'm not kidding. I love this series so much that it started my new obsession of watching wuxia and historical dramas. Typically, I wouldn't even bother watching films because I get bored so easily, but because the plot involves transmigration drama, I got hooked on it and binge-watched it for three days, yes! THREE DAYS!It took me quite some time to adjust to the heroine's cutesy and airhead personality (I'm unsure if that's the right term), because I'm more used to a girl boss type of diva, so it turned me off at first. However, I did change my mind later on and grew to love Hua Qing's bubbly demeanor, as well as the male protagonist, Prince Ji Chu, who has an evil-brooding character.
Overall, I'm so happy that they got their happy ending, but at the same time I'm on my hands and knees begging for a modern sequel to please, PLEASE CHANGE THE ENDING FOR GONG YE AND JI WAN!! I'm so crushed by what happened to thema, I'm delusionally in denial of their end. Pwede bang magmahalan na lang tayo dito? 🥹
