how can you guys drop this?? I’m in 5th episodes and I’m loving every bits of this. it’s so interesting…
No way, episodes 13 and 14 are some of the best episodes so far.

then you'll find many eps boring
I thought the first two episodes were kind of boring, but I LOVE this drama.

It’s a really good show. The first two episodes had me worried because they were kind of boring tbh, but I liked the third and fourth episodes a lot more. After that it just keeps getting better, and the romance feels real once they get together.

They kiss before the halfway point and are dating by the halfway point. I don’t know why people are telling you the romance is subtle.

I am just being glued to these long scenes for some reason, they feel real. That huge loud argument, I don't remember…
Yes, the dialogues in this show are so good and different from standard kdramas.

Genuinely can't believe such a terrible show has such high scores. The law aspect alone was completely laughable. Thanks for the sensible review.

a whole flower garden is in my stomach with the amount of butterflies it's giving me.
The romance starts episode 6, but truthfully it’s obvious they’re developing feelings long before that. The giggly texting they do all night early on is one sign of developing feelings and attraction.

The fact that fans of this show think its excused from criticism is absolutely crazy. My review literally got…
Your review got bombarded because the show isn’t over and you proceeded to leave a review after watching three episodes citing that there’s no romance in it when the show is very clearly a romance.

In the last scene of episode 8 she said she lied. Is it lied about changing the passcode or about not having milk…
He was going home so she lied that she needed milk so he would go with her and she knew he’d walk her back, at which point she had the courage to tell him to come up with her.

God, they shouldn't have mislead audience that is a romance drama. If from beginning it is depicted as a academy…
They didn’t mislead the audience.

i’m complelely chill. Im just sharing my opinion via this review, nothing more, nothing less.
It’s not even subtle. The romance is front and center. I found it so ridiculous how many people were complaining there was no romance when it seemed obvious where we were headed. It hasn’t even taken a long time. It’s a 16-episode drama and by episode 6 we had a kiss, and a good one at that. So many romance dramas have the romance start immediately, but you get crumbs for a bunch of episodes because they don’t want the leads to actually get together, so they spin their wheels for seven episodes before they maybe give you a kiss at episode 8 or 9.

Too many snowflakes here. I am fed up of pushover MLs in Kdramad where they get ragdolled around emotionally by…
It’s been a complaint for me with a lot of these new kdramas, particularly ones based on webtoons, that the ML’s are dull, and the constant praise for them being “green flags” has me worried about getting nothing but these bland, inoffensive men. This drama has me saying “what a man” for the past few episodes. WHJ is so sexy and I appreciate how hungry Junho is for Hye Jin.

BROO this drama is starting to get sooo good, if you dropped it prior to episode 8 I recommend picking it up again,…
Yes, that look between them was so charged!

Review Lovely Runner
I agree with you so much that the best thing that could have happened to this drama was to cut it down to 12 episodes. It’s still a show I would recommend and I enjoyed it, but by episode 12 I was feeling worn out and it just made no sense that this guy for no reason doomed them to an inescapable fate.

I think it’s kind of interesting reading some of the complaints about how there’s no romance and that the latest developments weren’t well-established, when this feels like such a natural progression to some of us.

I’ve been watching Lovely Runner, and it’s a really cute drama that I have enjoyed, but I realized by episode 12 I was kind of done with it. I wish it had been 12 episodes so they wouldn’t drag out this over-the-top cotton candy romance. I know lots of people watch kdramas specifically because they’re so innocent in their romances and full of loud declarations of love, but speaking for myself I get bored of how formulaic and sugary these types of dramas are. It’s sweet early on, then cloying and boring. Getting this couple who are able to talk and whose feelings we can see develop without a lot of drama feels like a breath of fresh air after one too many dramas featuring overly innocent romances.

As I mentioned, for me it was pretty hot when they were in the classroom and he told her to go while she can because he’s holding back so much, and then she tries to leave and he stops her and tells her “you read between the lines, right?”, and to let the rumors spread.

I really don’t understand how it was rushed? it was quite clear they are both infatuated with each other. Like…
Seriously, it’s so odd to see claims of it being rushed. It was obvious very early on that they’re both into each other and complement each other. Then in this same episode, before the ending scene, they have that tense scene where he closes the door and tells her to let the rumors spread when she’s trying to avoid discussing him saying that he needs her.

It’s their first kiss and they’re at the academy. It’s not going to be super steamy. I don’t think it’s rushed at all considering their earlier conversation where he initially confessed before officially confessing at the end and going for the kiss. It felt very natural.

SITR first kiss was episode 4 and honestly I didn’t think there was much tension before then besides when she holds his hand under the table in episode 3. They have great chemistry, but they got going pretty fast.
There was plenty of tension when he tells her that he needs her then closes the door and tells her to let rumors spread.

fr getting PTSD from all the times theyre playing that intro song throughout the eps 9____9
Idk I’m ok with it because I’ve had to deal with this director doing much worse in dramas like Something In The Rain, and A Wife’s Credentials.
