Perfectly stated. I don’t mind that we don’t see Heeja and think that works well, but god did they fumble with the last few episodes. The last episode in particular is just nonsense dragging out so they get together at the very end.
The FL was so unlikable and yet people praise her role as being “feminist”. I really hated her by the end. She was needlessly cruel. And the actress was not on the same level as Junho, who was amazing.
I love Junho and I liked San. I hated Deok Im by the end and you articulated it perfectly. She treated San like crap honestly. Look at how she acted towards her friends and how she treated a man who would move mountains for her. And her objections made no sense. She had no freedom. Even with all the downsides that being a concubine has, it still gave her more power than being a servant.
