I also don't agree with the fact that people hate the female lead character for not understanding what he has done for her and seeing from her perspective she why should she understand him in the first place. a good deed is a good deed but it can't outweigh the bad deeds ; they simply are not things to be compared in the first place. But I also think no one is trying to justify the action of the male lead in this drama and romanticizing rape or sexual assault. I also don't want them together despite wanting HE before watching the drama and just seeing because I am eager to know how the story proceed. I actually hate the men in this drama.

So true! Yu Changxuan isn't a fundamentally evil person, but as a romantic partner, he is incredibly toxic.
