This show has officially become one of the best kdrama's of 2021 for me. Such a rollercoaster of emotions and the writers kept us doubting the ending till the end - this is how you write a perfect love triangle! This is actually the first LA BL that I have ever touched and man it set the bar up so high (how can I now watch any other dramas). Time to binge now that all episodes are out, the show is just so good.
Is it too much hopeful of me to think that today's episode didn't have a preview, because it would spoil too much on who the end game is. That they decided to hide all the happy TaeShin moments from us to keep torturing us.

Yeah, it is actually kind of interesting to realise that Taekyung's initial relationship with both of the guys actually mirrors each other. It was both Shinwoo and Daon who tried approaching him first back when Tae was still cold and indifferent about friends. Daon won this battle, but by then Tae himself wanted friends already compared to when Shinwoo was bumping into Tae. But then, when Taekyung finally started actively seeking a relationship (be it platonic or romantic) both boys backed away. Shinwoo became the chaotic tsundere we saw him be and Daon was a confused child. However, how they acted during/after this is what's so different about them: Despite seeming cold initially Shinwoo was actually showing in his own way how he cared about Taekyung, while Daon immediately backed away into his own shell and started avoiding Taekyung (and his feelings). You're right about the fact that Taekyung was in fact the one to actively approache the two guys, which is why it's refreshing and interesting to see them take the initiative again, while also showing respect to Taekyung and his feelings.
I don't dislike Taekyung, but I do kinda think he falls into the "main female lead" role in a typical romantic…

If this wasn't a love triangle, or was a show where it was more clear to say who's the ML and who's SL, people would be just crying over having SLS. It's kind of natural that when there's two people for one to choose from, the votes get divided. I wish this was sometimes case with FL and SL, but sadly we know what kind of treatment second female leads get.
Despite all that, I don't see this as their job's to win Taekyung over. In the end, he's the one to make the final call on choosing the person he wants to be with. I really like the drama's mature approach on this matter. It's not about "seeing between us who's the better man for Tae" but it's about what Tae wants. I have to admit that Taekyung indeed is charming character because of how cold he appeared in the first episodes, but what a softie he turned out to be.

Korean's count age differently, you're 1 years old when you born and they add a year every new year. So him being 18 in Korean age, means he's 17 in international age, and hence still a minor - which they keep emphasizing in the show. Not that I have anything wrong with it, because it happens while both are aware who he is, but just letting you know, he is still a minor whatever country it would be in. :)
