I don't even know which scene to praise, the one where he cries, or the one where he is walking around aimlessly looking all hot and disturbed while smoking, or the scene where he is trapped in his own headspace and goes, ' Its all in my head', while giving a menacing laugh, or where he is fighting his own demon monkey, or the one where he is cheering up Niran and is ready to take away all his negative energy. The list is endless, but Pete, where do I sign up to be your minion.
Damn! The fact that the slit in the contact lens which Nani wore during the ritual scene were not stationary but rotating all the time when he was jumping around. That's crazy.
What an episode!!!!!! Krist was so great in the beginning, he genuinely creeped me out.
And now to my favourite character, Pete. Oh brother! Where to start. Nani didn't nail it, he aced it.
The way he switched from jolly good mood, the moodmaker to slightly annoyed when Niran asked about his lifestyle and then going completely berserk at the end. What a rollercoaster of emotions.
His demon gave me creeps and goosebumps. Nani's acting is so damn nuanced. The way Pete was struggling at the start of the ritual, getting anxious, panicking, and then all of his memories becoming a trigger unleashing the demon within him. WOW!!
It was a pitiful scene. All of his insecurities, shortcomings becoming a catalyst for his demon to break out.
I also loved the flashback scenes which showed how he tried to contain his demon but it also showed in the form of random outbursts, showing how his anger was truly influenced by the demon.
Man, how went from cutie Pete to unhinged Pete.
I wish the ritual scene was longer. Can't wait for next ep!
I don't think anyone could play Pete the way Nani does. He acted so well. What a crazy growth from Shin to Pete.
Pete is such a melancholic character. He won't show his sadness outright but hide behind a facade of false bravado. The way he doesn't value his life, he is ready to risk performing a ritual for a short term money gain, and after coming to know that he has a powerful demon inside of him is again willing to risk his life.
He is just a guy who is forced to grow up so that he can be a dependable older brother. Underneath all the false bravado, he just wants his sister back and some friends he can share food with. He is the guy who will willingly sacrifice himself just for the sake of others. The way he smiles even though he has nothing to smile about, as if a guy living on the edge. Like he said, he has nothing to lose.
His all-in personality is worst trait of all, as he doesn't give a damn about the consequences of his actions or how it will affect his loved ones.
Man, what a pitiful character.
Nani acted really well. We laugh when Pete laughs, and feel sad when he is eating alone at his home after winning. His fighting scenes are incredible, and his emotional acting 100/10
He mentioned during live house how Pete is not a deep character, even though he is not, we definitely feel what Pete feels, and just shows how good of an actor he is.
P.S: Sorry for the long rant. Please ignore grammatical errors, just finished watching ep 2 and wanted to gush about actor Nani
Late night thoughts: Pete and Saint definitely won't get along at all. Pete will be angry about what Saint did to Shin. Niran definitely can't control Pete, Shin will defend Saint from Pete.
Btw same here

PS: A psychotic role would suit Nani really well.
P.S: Titan and Juno mentioned this during yesterday's gmm livehouse
I was planning to do that as well. But his bangs cover up his eyes xD
Nani said this during his tiktok live with Sky yesterday.
