I am happy if the writer surprise me. But I have 1% hope on it. If the empress is alive, she will definitely disappointed seeing her husband has a child with someone who plotted to kill her. Plus he also fail to protect FSG when he was almost got kill in his childhood.

As we know emperor usually fall for woman who pretend to be weak & gentle like that new empress. So I wont even surprise if he did not suspect her at all. Most of the emperor in the drama is an idiot, so I dont expect otherwise for this one. He will only realize it when he is on the death bed😅

Yeah I dont really trust the emperor. How he can even has a child with another woman who involves with the downfall of his former empress?? He did not even need another son as he already has FSG. So I dont think he believes his wife is innocent.
Maybe its just me. He is also protective of this new empress. No hint of him hating her at all.

Not true. They are together until the end in the novel. FSG takes the throne & FYX becomes the queen. Did that person even read the novel?? Even said the novel is beautifuĺly written.

FSG is quite funny. Last ep, he said no time to think about love until he avenge his mother's death.
Next ep, I want to marry and live until old age with someone like you.
He is in denial stage but acts like a love fool in front of FYX. No wonder she teases him a lot😂

Dont worry, her hand will recover soon. We can see in the trailer where she brings her bow to fight together with FSG later. FSG will totally make sure that doctor heal her hand.

He knew but wont acknowledge it as he wants FYX to just forget about XJS. Just like what he said to his aide, XJS is not worthy at all.

If Shusha Empress can get information about XJS & FYX past relationship, I bet FSG knew it too. That is why he said in the market, I want XJS to see his "beloved" general is now mine.

Wicked XJS that will do anything to get the throne ( Even willing to sacrifice his citizen).
Both of them are selfish. In a way, they are actually an excellent match to each other.
Honestly, I dont mind a bad ending for them as both deserve it.

I already suspected that scene is the ending. I saw it few sec in the trailer. That is why I think it is a happy ending.

He is awfully suspicious today. Losing track of XJS & coincidently meeting the same woman as FSG makes him more suspicious. I hope FSG realize this.

When FSG said he has a life & death experience with Murong Yao. That sounds awfully familiar, just what FYX has experienced with her 3 brothers😔
I am glad FYX is wary against him. His behavior today is so suspicious, hiding behind his playboy facade. Quite a surprise his father is really loyal to the emperor. No wonder Murong Yao is arguing with his father in the trailer.

ML also has a tragic background but he did not resort to such evilness. Whatever his tragic background is not an excuse. How can he be a good ruler when he can even sacrifice his own citizen??

It is a good thing that 2nd ML is confirmed evil. FYX will never goes back to him. She will not hesitates to kill him after knowing about the death camp. While FSG also will not get involves with other woman after what happen to his mother.
So we wont need to worry about love triangle or love square in this drama for the lead.
We can just focus on the plot & their relationship. I am rooting for happy ending just like the novel💞

I know she is sheltered, but she did not even has a common sense against their country enemy. I pity FSG for having a sister like her.

No breakup, they are always together. But FL is too obsessed with 2nd ML, so it quite sometimes until she likes FSG. Novel FL feels so childish, it did not make me believes she is a general..LOL

Based on yesterday flashback, I think there is not so much age gap between FSG & his sister. Their mother's death makes FSG stronger, but did his sister just live in bubble all those years? Did the princess did not even learn anything from their mother's death? She seems so stupid now.

Today we get the truth about FSG mother's death. His mother died in prison as she is being accused as a spy. As I thought it wont easy for others to assassinate her as his mother is a general.
So she died as a traitor when others plotted against her.
I thought the emperor loves her based on the flashback, but why he did not protect his empress?
No wonder FSG is so mad at his father.
