I agree with you. Even though its a drama, sometimes I wish they make it much more believable especially during the war.

After rewatching today ep, XZ actually fights with Prince Changxin. Its not like XZ has 0 fighting scene. He stops midway as he needs to chase YQ who is going to lead the troop in the city. Its actually makes sense as protecting the city is much more important. Who else left to chase after YQ?? XZ is the brain of this war. So he needs to strategically adapt his moves against the enemy to win the war.

While CY main advantage is her strength, not her brain. He believes CY can fight with Prince Changxin. Not sure why many comments feel the ML needs to kill Prince Changxin to show his superiority as a General?? He has much urgent jobs to do rather than solely focus on killing him.

Many already complaint about lack of ML fighting scene. Instead the drama add this unnecessary filler that wont even make a different to the plot.

Its all fair in a war. Looking at the bigger picture is more important. Why risking him to fight with those injuries & die unnecessarily? Li Huaian can barely move with those injuries. How to fight in the battlefield? They already lose General He. No one has time to take care of him while the battle is going on.

Li Huaian is seriously injured. He cant even stand properly. He will only drags them down if he goes to the battlefield. She cant focus on fighting while protecting him.
He is suicidal so he is not in right state of mind to fight. He is just being reckless and becomes a burden. Worst case, his close aids might even die to protect him too. They need more general to survive instead of losing everyone in 1 battle.

Why did they want to keep Yuanqing alive but aims to kill his father only? Isnt Lord changxin is is much more important? It makes more sense to kill them both.

The plot hole becoming much obvious with these remaining eps. The drama is trying to rush to fit everything. Throwing logic out of the window. The characters just pop out here & there conveniently.
