I do not even see how both are the same as Xuyan only lies about her background. Hao Ming is the one who set up Xuyan step by step to make her fall in love with him.

I dont have any pity for the ML lead. He acts like he can control everything just because he is rich while ruining other people life. The same for his family too.

I saw a clip where the mother in law also knew the truth about Xuyan background and Hao Ming scheming to get Xuyan as his wife. Her identity is actually an open secret in his family.
