True, that torture scene just ruin it. Like Tonghua said u trust me but the 1st thing he did is to throw her in the dungeon & whip her. He did not even wait for the 4th prince to wake up to listen to his side of story. Didnt his staff tell him she is looking for him before she went out to save the 4th Prince?

Some may said she scheme against him but she did not harm him at all. While SZY has tried to kill her when she 1st met. When she just got married to her, he also already plan to kill her again. Even the Meng daughter is treated nicely than her. Why? Just because she is a princess without any backup so he can easily depose her. SZY kind a deserve the cold treatment from her.

But their push & pull is taking too much of the drama. We are already at ep 30 trailer but they are still not together yet😅.

I am not sure about Nanrui character. At 1st he looks innocent & naive. But when he ask NH to confess is weird. Is he so stupid not knowing the consequences if NH takes the blame for Pingrong battle? The emperor will kill NH.

But the way he suddenly bring the tangerine and the piece of cloth stuck to the basket?? Is there such a coincidence? It looks so suspicious so either he is the main villain or he is just really a stupid prince.

CGH is becoming much more annoying & stupid in each single ep.
I wonder what will happen to him in the end? Will it follow common trope in drama where 2nd ML redeem himself & die to safe the FL in the end? While the stupid prince is actually the master mind?

As this drama use all the cliché plot, I wont be surprised if this happen. Then the lead will die & meet again in Modern World😂😂

She didnt believe Nanheng kill his uncle as she knew the script. She said Gao Heng is supposed to survive until the end as the main villain that share the power with NH. So it is not logical if he easily die like that & for NH to kill him now.

Its almost 30 ep, if she still cant trust him, I dont what to say anymore. Whether she is clever enough to figure out Gao Heng fake his death & try to eliminate NH is not known. She can be slow & stupid too.

Nan Heng is a Prince but get whip/lashes in every single ep. The Emperor & Chu Guihong is so annoying. It is so satisfying to see Song Yiting roasted Guihong at the execution ground.

I think she suspected it when she found out the 3rd prince relationship with the Lan Boutique. It is basically confirm in today ep. Zaiye also suspected earlier that the 3rd Prince has the antidote as Tonghua is still alive while the prisoners all dead due to the poison.

Actually I am even questioning why Nan Heng like her after all her hate speech against him. The stab too?? At this point, she did not deserve Nan Heng at all.

The ML character is pitiful as he is destined to love her. Who knows if actually she is bad or evil & that is why she got kill multiple times by Nan Heng. We only see the script from her POV not from the ML POV😅

Actually it is a good plan to stay with 3rd prince as right now only he has the antidote to suppress her poison. At 1st I am quite skeptical but logically no one else has the antidote. Unless they found the cure, she needs stick with the 3rd prince & uncover his relationship with Empress of Baiyan.

Imagine she gets tortured by him in the dungeon and after that she spend the night together with him. That scene did not feel right for me. He should wait for the 4th prince to wake up but he already put a blame on her. While Tonghua is stubborn too by beating around the bush.

You need to bear with the logic of the dramaland. You get stabbed, whip & fall from a cliff but still looks very healthy like nothing happen the next day🤣🤣

He found out about the poison on ep19. Other spy from baiyue told him & he also already know her background as his informant is back.

Then the amnesia trope that never be forgotten in cdrama to create more angst.

I saw the latest preview Qingtai will get stabbed & her body is thrown in the river. Hope she did not die. I blame the lead for not communicating & work together.

The writer wants to portray the lead as very smart but I only see stupidity on both side. He still believe she will harm the 4th prince while she still hiding information from his is such an absurd. Let them just separate if both are not trying to work together at all. Communication will solve the issues but the drama wants to drag it to create angst.

The recent clips is the extended version of what happen in ep19. I have spoiled it above. They didnt plan or work together when she fall off the cliff. It seems both lead are not that smart. They show how Zaiye only discover the truth after she had left.

Extended clips for ep19. So I am right she didnt confess to him about the truth. That is why she even got tortured in the dungeon in ep18. He didnt trust her when she told him she is saving the 4th prince at the Lan Boutique.

Zaiye will only know the truth about the poison & her background from other Beiye spy after she fall off the cliff in ep 19. They also found her brother's letter. I want to see him in regret after knowing the truth. He should has waited for the 4th prince to wake up before punish her.

She even find him before going to rescue the 4h prince. He is stupid to believe she still want to harm the prince & still say he trusts her. Though Tonghua should tell the truth instead of beating around the bush. Its good they separate this time.

I doubt so as the next ep she will be tortured in the dungeon. Doesnt seems something he has done if she already told him the truth. The new trailer show he only knew it after she is gone through other Beiye's spy.

Honestly I prefer if the 4th prince has an arranged marriage with Princess from other countries & they slowly fall in love. I am a fan of arrange marriage....LOL

The ML's sister is too immature. I dont know how she will be the Empress in the future if she marry him. I just skip her part in today ep. Its just add nothing to the plot.

If she wants to get upper hand over Empress Lu, she needs Zaiye help. It just did not make sense if Taohua did not confess everything. It will benefit Zaiye too as he is able to lure out enemies that want to harm the 4th prince.
If Zaiye believe Taohua is harming the 4th prince he must be stupid. She has many opportunities to do it in the past but did nothing. Logically, is he still unable to check her background?? It should be the 1st thing to do when she is married to his household.
