I have a complete different opinion on Omegaverse. Yes, I know that people say it is a mrally grey area and I agree. But I love Omegaverse, you know why? It is exactly as you mentioned. Omegas are women in men's bodies. Now let us not go into who should be called women or not. Because not all women menstruate or have the so called female organs. But let me talk about the principles and nuances of it.
I have a version that is completely my own. First, many gay couples love and want children, yes many adopt, but what if they long for their own flesh and blood? Just like any other hetero couple? Omegaverse brings out a fantasy world for them where this is possible.
Second, this is a bit twisted. from my experience, it is mostly women who write and also read Omegaverse. Why? One reason can be fetishization of MLM couples but still keeping them into a familial societal structure, which is having children, and normalising life of a gay couple just like any het couple. I have seen so much hate against gay couples who adopt as well, many say that they will poison the kids and will turn them "gay". What stupidity.
Another reason? Sorting through their own trauma. What do I mean by that? From time immemorial, women have to listen to other people who are often and mostly men about what they should do with their bodies. Women were to be subservient to husbands, they had no body autonomy. Forget about their choice on birth control or abortion and more. I hope you follow the current news and what more atrocities are being done to women worldwide.
And omegaverse is a mirror image of that society but with men. What if men would be able to get pregnant and fell victim of all sorts of atrocities? What will happen if we put all the torture, and abuse that women have to suffer would also be suffered that way by men?
I assure you, that Omegaverse lovers are not "homophobic". Because it is a testmanet of the utopic fantasy where a gay couple can also live like any other couple with perfect bliss and security.
it is time for me to watch old series again, especially those that I did not watch before. So I started The Trainee yesterday, while it is really difficult for me see OffGun in that kind of setting after Not Me, I found the first episode extremely engaging and relatable, especially as someone who works in PR, media and content front, it is as if I am watching myself go through all that motions again.
The show has caught us hook, line and sinker through it's real life situations. The business strategy, the dirty games, the dating problem, and fans being delusional (the most common occurrence), the show hits close to home too much.
Thanks for adding a fan perspective through Fern's voice as well. She was delusional but with realistic attitude and she understood quickly what she needed to do and she chose Pepper and MARS.
I hope the show creates awareness among fans, all kinds of fans, not just idols but also some BL fandom fans as well.

I was not talking about this show, or more like any show. The bullying problem has surfaced in SK news for quite a few times. There are many youtube videos about it too, where teachers are harassed by the parents of students. I guess...that is how some kids become bullies when they see their parents acting like that.
