I do agree with that he is very new. I guess the series did not work out much because it was not a ...BL even though it was promoted as one. Honestly, that is the only complain I have for it. And I agree with what you say about new Siwaj as well. I hope that with Boun being the screenwriter and the brain behind it, this show will shine...only if they start working on it.

I don't know if you have watched Shadow or not. I loved the storytelling and cinematography, I know there are more than director, there are DOP and a team of cinematographers and editors work together but as his first work Ark was amazing to pull of everything.
Besides he has a thing for dark themes, especially vampires. On his IG he mentioned a very old work of his called Porphyrias which is also based on vampire theme. i watched it. Although I would not say it was an artistic brilliance but he understands how to use darker tones
GMMTV has a serious vampire problem. This hasn't been recorded yet and MGB ended a month ago and we haven't heard…
scared to launch dark themes as suggested by another person below. Both this and MGB has bit darker tone than the other two released last year. New Siwaj is not the person for this drama that's for sure. Man can't make any dark thing. I believe if given to Ark or anyone else, it'd probably see it's time of the day sometime this year.
If I remember correctly, MGB was featured in GMMTV Up & Above Lineup part 1 and still has not released, and they announced them in 2023. Now I can say that all the 2025 line ups gonna be released in 2027. Ex-Morning, Dark Dice and Leap Day are yet to release, possibly along with a few more. GMM should stop dreaming too much and take less projects, but they not just keep fans quaking in their seats but also keep taking in new artists whom they can't manage much. Revamp..idek when it will be released, if at all...
Then I will recommend you two of my favourite films. 1. A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, directed by Ana Lilly Amirpour. It's an Iranian film and has a very feminist angle towards the vampirism. 2. Byzantium directed by Neil Jordan. That too has a slight feminist angle. This one has a very interesting take on turning into vampire. I hope you like them
