i love richard, watching this bcz of him. but the actress's acting is really bad. her crying scenes are too fake.…
I don’t think her acting was terrible. She’s still better than many popular “veteran” actresses today. But she does need training.
Too often she relies on one fixed facial expression for entire scenes, which makes them less engaging. There are many ways to portray calm and composed without using the same look repeatedly. The male lead handled this better, but I still think she is a better actress compared to certain popular actresses.
This is actually what I liked about it. The female lead was strong until the end, there was no chance for him…
Me too. I would have been so disappointed had she forgiven him. Though his love or obsession was unbelievable for me at times, I loved the choices the female lead here
the plot and some scenes mirrored GMP, including the unexpected SA, which I wish had been left out. Still, the acting: especially the female lead's was excellent. I wish they did more of a slow burn on the ML falling for her, and some scenes of him. The ML was a bit kinder than in GMP, and the FL suffered less. For a low-budget drama, the costumes and overall production were impressive. I really enjoyed it!
RL is way too old for this role. Even Dilraba is too old.
I haven't watched much of Bai Lu's acting. Though she is one of the actress who can make look so iconicL with her eyes. But yes, Zhao Lu Si, for me personally, is someone who can do both comedy and tragedy.

Dilaraba is not that old for this drama. Though she does fit the exotic standards but I'm not fond of her acting. Her acting looks the same to me in all of her dramas.
Peng XiaorRan did a fabulous job. Ruby Lin has good acting but she isn't suited for this drama. Maybe someone like Zhao LuSi, Yang Zi, Ni Ni, Song Yi, Shen Yue or another talented actress who bring life to Xiaofeng, like PXR, should act in this role.
Honestly, anyone is fine as long as it isn't Angelababy.
yes, defintely not the one from What's wrong with Secretary Kim? Sure he's a bit self-absored, delusional, and narcisstic: he isn't one bit toxic. Especially when you watch what he does for the female led and his brother.
I was 18 years old when I found out about this live-action. I will turn 21 years old this month, and there isn’t…
I'm actually learning Mandarin right now. Back when they announced the live action, I was just a beginner. But guess what? I've worked my way up, and now I'm an upper-intermediate Mandarin speaker. Who knows, by the time I reach native-level fluency or start composing Mandarin poems, they might finally release the show!
For me, my first drama was Hormones & Love Sick. I'm a picky person so my favourites are a few. - Full House: (the Korean version was my 1st Asian drama ever which I picked up after reading the manhwa), love the chemistry & bickering between Aom & Mike. *** annoying 2nd FL - Love Destiny: this drama is a jewel with lots of comedy, adorable & non-toxic ML who cherishes the FL, lovable 2nd & 3rd FLs, healthy & sweet relationship, amazing Thai food, reasonable characters, no annoying characters or misunderstandings that last 15 episodes - Hormones: a well written story that interconnect multiple characters showing societal problems: discrimination again LGBT, promiscuity & other teenager problems - Soot Sanaeha: loaded with comedy, A heroine that makes you laugh out loud at her bratiness, she even made 2 of the evil characters question her sanity, lovable ML, - A Tale of Thousand Stars: comedy, lovable & warm-hearted supporting characters, character growth - Theory of Love: OST, amazing acting by Gun, lovable & supportive side characters, amazing outfits,
I like the Thai culture a lot more since they have a lot of influences from Hinduism & Buddhism. I'm Sri Lankan so a lot of things in their cultures & similar words sound music to me.
Girl, usually I'm very picky with dramas to watch or claim as the best ones. You have almost all of of my favourite dramas like Nirvana in Fire, Untamed, Scarlet Heart, Sawan Biang, Love Destiny, From Me to You & Battle of Changsha. I will definitely try the others dramas you've recommended.
I like Lakorn slap-kiss plots but never end up liking the dramas. But Sawan Biang is an exception with tightly-woven plots, great acting, 3 dimensional characters, & great supporting characters, villains (whose reasons for being evil I could relate with), & the ML Kawee (who made you hate him so much in the beginning but grew to understand his actions even if you don't accept them)
Next year… they’re starting to film this in a few weeks
When I 1st watched this drama, my Mandarin was non-existent. It is now at an intermediate level. I hope I'll be able to understand the majority of the drama without subtitles when season 2 airs.
Right! Shin Se Gi is essentially the ML (whose name is easily forgettable XD), but not him entirely. I guess I…
Really? Then I should watch Meteor Garden. Despite all the interesting snippets, Dylan Wang, catchy songs, hype & the pretty Shen Yue, I couldn't put myself to watch it for the fear of BOF. I'll add the 2018 version to my plan-to-watch list.

Totally agree. Bad boys, they are more interesting. I think I don't like bad boys because of BOF. In Boys Over Flowers, the ML is so cruel & isn't shown to have any sort of remorse for what he did to others.
But Shin Se Gi is an exception since his love solely revolved around cherishing, adoring, & protecting the FL. I do have double standards. Besides, he is so funny & adorable when he threaten himself (the other ML)

Kill Me Heal Me is a funny one since the ML has a personality disorder with one being the 1st ML & the other being 2nd ML. While I actually like the ML's main character better because of his kindness & consideration for everyone around him, I can't deny the butterflies I felt for Shin Se Gi. Look I even remember his name & I don't even remember the ML's main character name.
