Hmm... maybe no. While I do like Hidden Marriage to be adapted into a drama- it, after all, has a dubious-con tag, I'd like to know how they'll alter it into a less problematic way while still maintaining little treasure. And i'd rather have it be made into a Chinese drama (though we all know that CN dramas are very draggy- the HM novel is very draggy as well, so they're even.)
Though I do love the cast! They have strong acting, but their images differ a little from what was portrayed in the novel, especially the guy- I expect LTX to be buffer, having the vibe of an overbearing CEO like the guy Park Seo-joon.
OMG is this the final casting? It's unlikely but hoping that it is. I'm a fan of Wu Qian and Yang Zi- it would be nice to see the two of them act together <3
Also, just a question because I really am confused. How is it considered a trilogy with AOL and SIL??? If it's AOL and just this, I have no question but SIL is a modern drama???
I really want to watch this but I don't like Aarif- it's like he can't act, tried to watch him on Princess Silver but dropped it because of him. Will only be watching it for Wang Zhuocheng.
No, HYX's costumes are not designed by AOL's costume designer. And I think we need to be reminded that 2ha isn't…
Oh, good. I didnt know lol. Hoping that the end product for their best staffs will be a good one. Thanks for the info!
In what part did I say that Erha is a 'world-famous classic novel' , lol? I do get that my wording may seem wrong to others lol, sorry for that-I was just concerned that they will alter the plot or the drama' result will beunsatisfactory.
But there's no rule that state that we cant question what's happening behind the scenes. After all, which fan doesn't want the drama they subscribe to be the best? /though, yes there is no 'best' drama/.
No, im not looking for CQL 2, just casually mentioned they're from the same company and had high hopes for it. I don't think that I even compared them??
Luo Yunxi is most definitely an amazing actor (I still can't believe he's 31 already). I've known him since Fox in the Screen and loved him in AOL. I have vague knowledge about Arthur Chen, but I did hear that this portrayal in Ever Night is good, his 2nd drama? Not so much. I'm hoping he improves and portrays the best Moran he can do. Why is Shimei a girl? Are they thinking of altering the plot or is there some secret from the higher-ups and actress that they turned him into a girl? Hmm. I hope not.
I, however, have few concerns. It is said in a few comments that the Director is not reliable? The production staffs are from AOL, and sorry but the CGI and clothes (especially Xu Feng's armor, i still cringe at times from remembering that) from AOL is pretty much not that good (was AOL a high budget drama? It feels unlikely). But considering that this is also from Tencent and CQL is also from Tencent, im going to have high hopes on this one, whether the plot, acting and visuals. Praying that it will not fail me.
Luo Yunxi's casting is absolutely top-notch for Chu Wanning, and after his performance in Ashes of Love as Runyu…
I'm also hoping that they censor it the same way CQL did. But they have diff production staffs and from what i've read- the behind the scenes cast of Immortality have a history of not doing good in their past dramas (ie. ATWIL)- hoping that they improve though. It's a high budget drama so I'm having a lot of expectations on this one.
Here romance means censored romance (BL) so don't worry ..
I'm thinking that they WILL alter the plot for censor's sake but I hope they don't *crossfingers* I'm scared because it really might happen, but hoping it will not? Because Tencent wants to get some $$$ from their BL adaptions, and fans making a ruckus about it not staying true to the story will not be good for them.
OMG! IS THIS TRUE? MY TALU AND RAINY??? I'm so excited I hope this is confirmed! But it's a republican drama which I don't really watch :( But defo going to watch just to see Talu in a republican suit <3
Aight, I can already imagine this as a silly rom-com; although I'm hoping it's not because MuFen are already 29, a silly rom-com won't be that good for their image. I'm not gonna expect a lot, but iQiyi's web-dramas are improving recently. I hope iQiyi will give my dachang boys justice- especially my Mubo (I've been a super fan of him since dachang). I'm also hoping for a MuFen bromance ♥♥
Will wait for this, but tbh I'm just gonna watch this for Han Mubo, lol. ♥♥
(Also, low-key hoping there won't be a romantic interest for either Mubo and Qin Fen- purely my two cents don't bother me lol.)
Untamed paved a way for these guys they’re blooming and getting them roles .. wonderful
I don't have a say for others but for Yibo, I beg to disagree. He's been famous in china for like years- with or without Untamed he'd land on big jobs soon. Lmao/ Cheers

Yes they are quite popular- I also said that it is quite unlikely-. Still hoping as they are all good actors!

Oh he's my ult! From OACA's Awaken- F: Han Mubo. They're inactive- (as most cpop groups are).
