I’d like to know more about the Thai alphabet but whenever I try I get put off! Are there some letters which correspond closely to our letters and sounds? That would be a start.
In that case I apologise. I didn’t know that. I’ve only seen ‘Mhok’ on this website and in the subtitles so assumed it was the standard. I’m sorry, AnnHaleWinchester!
I don’t hate Namwam and do understand her feelings. But Night shows no signs of attraction to her, though he doesn’t want to hurt her so won’t take the final step of breaking up with here, which would be the kindest thing. But surely Namwam would recognise this without being told?
Good to see Off and Gun again, but otherwise I was very disappointed. It may be due cultural differences but the “comic”scenes just made me cringe. I’ll try one more episode.
Looks pretty natural to me. Finally a series that doesn't whitewash actors.
I absolutely do not want them to be whitewashed! And I wish they wouldn’t have to wear any obvious makeup, particularly the lipstick - I’m talking generally in BLs here. Singto does look over made-up to me though.
I need to watch episode 5 again. I feel we didn’t get much time to work out the relationship between A and T, though of course I got there in the end. But why, when the phone photo was of two girls, did the other boy say, “It’s disgusting for a man to do that to another man”? Perhaps I missed something. Sorry if I’m slow.
i understand that but that was the only way she would have been able to escape from the torment of her husband,…
Yes, but it was the way she did it. It would have been terrible for the little boy anyway, but to have seen her hanging there, as she must have known he would…
BIG SPOILER I’ve just watched the episode where Dan’s mother commits suicide. I cannot understand how any loving mother, which she certainly was, could kill herself in a way that her hanging body will be discovered by her little boy when he returns from school, whatever her desperate mental state. No wonder, with an abusive father as well, that he is scarred for life.
I have enjoyed it, and like that it’s rather different (Japanese BLs do appeal to me). As other people have said, the ending is going in the right direction, but they still have quite a lot to sort out! The extent of Segasaki’s possessive and jealous attitude is quite worrying for the future unless he’s going to make a big effort to change. And Yoh needs to go on a cooking course!
Singto does look over made-up to me though.
