Two people who grow up together have a certain vulnerability and trust that takes place in familial relationships. From the scenes I've seen, these two characters grew up in the same household / experienced childhood together. Especially with an age difference, it gets pretty tricky because of things like power exchange(emotional/social 'roles' between an older and younger sibling, the older is supposed to lead traditionally as a mentor and help the younger one learn and grow) With these pre-established power dynamics, grooming and or predatory relationships are very common, even if the two people are close in age.

This pairing specifically doesn't sit right with me because of that, and also the younger one (zombie) having expressed feelings of inferiority, and like he is standing in He Yao's shadow. These feelings can be exploited.
