While I like this series because I usually like Yang Mi, I thought the age difference was weird too even though Haishi's character mentioned a few times that "he's not that much older than us". But then when he took them in, he would have had to been at least 16, and the young Haishi looked like maybe she was supposed to be maybe 12, and her "Ge Ge" was supposed to be 13? That didn't make sense to me at all.

I really agree with this comment. I only watched 9 episodes, but in all 9, I didn't think any of the acting was good. I compared all the girls to Yang Mi now, and with every one in the 9 episodes, I always thought, "Nope. Not like Yang Mi". After watching her in "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms", "The Legend of Fuyao", and "Novoland: Pearl Eclipse", all the girls in "Handsome Siblings" are all just damsels in distress to me.

I wanted to drop this series too, and I did. I would say you are smart to drop it immediately. I'm older, so I find clingy girls annoying, so Tie Xin Lan ruined the show for me. In the first 9 episodes, I couldn't understand why she was suddenly clinging onto Xiaoyu'er in all the fights, and she kept grabbing his arm when he was trying to fight.

I think Hua Wu Que was a likable character as well, but he's meddlesome and inexperienced from the episodes I watched, so maybe he gets better? I think it was a little strange that he played his own father, but I think a lot of shows do that.

I agree! I want to watch this show for the twins, but I am only on episode 9 and I'm having a hard time getting through it because it's so far really boring and annoying. I'm at the point where I want the bad girls to win like Little Fairy and Jiu Murong. Xin Lan is so far really annoying and clingy, and I find myself rooting for her to just get killed off. I wanted to watch this show for the twins, and not the romances.
