I'm still watching episode 16 and MJL's advisor has a point! He says, Prince Ding is not their enemy. They are working for the same goal. And he even asked MJL why he is treating prince ding as an enemy. I think it's because of Ye Li. Not just bc she married him, but she is actually like happy with him. And MJL is jealous.
