I liked how the FL was more cheerful and chaotic compared to the drama version. but i don't think i'd enjoy this if i hadn't watched the drama first. (watched this today again after 2017, i don't really remember the drama as much, but as i recall the leads were a little more stiff than this)

didn't he call her his girlfriend from very early in their relationship? and as far as i recall he did introduce her to his friends, first to the girl who liked him, and then his other friends in the private bar. also he asked her if she had a passport to invite her to switzerland with his friends. In one of the early episodes there was a scene where he was telling his friend that he didn't want to keep this a secret, but Shang Zhitao acts like she has seen a ghost whenever they're in public and he tries to get near her. I mean from my perspective, he did put a label on the relationship, but Shang Zhitao didn't. (yes, later she did, but then Luan Nian saw her getting close to her ex and her roommate, also saw her on the blind dating site) I agree he had a lot of red flags, but so did she.

I'm in episode 21, and i don't really understand what's happening. idk if i have skipped an episode somehow, but its not making any sense. someone please spoil it for me, tell me what's happening in the factory? and when did they even start dating? who is mr zhang? and what happened in the fire? what is this business mr zhang does? why is it illegitimate?

you can try "New life begins" same female lead, but its more on the simpler side, not much of politics and fights. but there's comedy, romance, family bonding etc. As a person who enjoys shows with a little less complexity, but also not just brainrot, i enjoyed it a lot.

I loved this so much because the villains are not just bad people doing bad things, they have their origin stories, and the main characters are also not just good selfless people who can never do anything wrong. everyone is human, everyone falls on the grey area and it somehow makes it so special.

heyyy i want to start watching it after it finishes airingg, but there are too many spoilers on reels and stuff everydayy😭 can someone tell me the airing schedule, and when its supposed to be done? TIA👉👈

omgg yess it was sooo good! You should try Meet Yourself if you liked Hi Venus, its a bit slow burn, but the setting and everything is top notch, like you said no unnecessary conflict and green flag leads
