I had to drop it. I couldn't take any more of the FL's mother's victim mindset, everything had to be about her and how she felt and what she thought. Regardless of what happened to FL the mother still brought the issue back around to how it made her feel.

No idea how people actually liked the FL's character. She was a whiny entitled brat. I watched up to episode 8 and just couldn't force myself to watch one more second of her obnoxiousness. The chicken was great though, every time I saw it I got hungry and I don't even like fried chicken.

One of the best shows I've watched in a very long time. Their friendship was fun to watch and them realizing their feelings felt natural ;).

And now I block you. Please stop when someone asks you to stop. You have the right to your opinion but not to keep shoving it on people when they ask you to stop. Usually I side with the women in alot of these because they get treated like they are stupid when they have degrees and life experience but not this time. I think this time she should have been put in her place not be catered to because the ML has been in love with her for years. LOVE her parents though which is rare for me in cdramas.

I can not stand the FL. I'm on episode 7 about to drop it. I don't know why she thinks she knows better than him about managing employees. The way she is trying to micromanage how he manages situations that arise. The fact she thought her 3 year lobby/assistant contract job is more important than his career and his mom getting the medicine she needs is wild. She is immature at best and driving me insane.

I really enjoyed it up until that part just wish it stayed great.

I had to drop it at ep 18. I can only watch people get kidnapped over and over so many times before the drama and conflict between the same people gets played out for me. I liked most of the actors and the acting itself but the story just killed it for me.

That's exactly where I dropped it. Checked to see how many episodes left and when I saw 20 and not 14 I noped out of there.

And that's perfectly fine for you to feel that way. People are allowed to not like seeing some of those things in dramas though. We all have differences and your opinion of the show is valid.

Where did I say obsession? He literally called her his medicine, he told her that she had to save him. That he had to have her. Depending on one person to keep you mentally afloat is unhealthy. Her supporting him is 100% ok, I'm not arguing that. He even admitted to manipulating her into being with him. Just because it happens in real life doesn't make it ok or healthy at all. I'm glad they show realistic emotional portrayals of humans but I don't have to like watching someone use those tactics in a relationship. Just like I disliked seeing the emotional incest that his mom had towards him.

while yes he has trauma in his past it still isn't healthy to fixate and have a person be your "medicine" for mental issues and its ok to not like how that's used in this show.

If the stupid sound effects and cartoon drawings were gone this show would have improved drastically for me. Those are really my only gripes so if you are like myself then just be forewarned it's everywhere.

C dramas have gotten better with it over time, that being said they definitely still lean towards this kind of behavior. Overbearing controlling parents. submissive "childlike" women. Domineering men who talk to and treat the FL like a literal child in alot of instances. Some are definitely better and I have personally found modern Korean dramas to be alot better in that that regard than Chinese drams but I try to just get past it and see if the story itself is any good.

I know I'm 10 years late to watching this show but holy inner monologue overload. The rest of the things I disliked about this show were definitely something that I know is because of the time frame so I won't elaborate. Dropped it at 27 episodes because I just couldn't take it anymore.

Watch Perfect Marriage Revenge, he leveled up in a big way for me personally in that show. I didn't think he was bad per say in his older shows but imo his acting matured a lot in PMR.

Honestly I've never heard of it. I've only started watching kdramas, cdramas since late last year though. I will definitely look for it.
