One of the best from ‘25
One of the best new dramas of 25. If you are ready for a ride, buckle up this drama is it. It’s full of palace, intrigue, betrayal, body swapping, amnesia and that’s just the first few episodes. The acting from the male and female lead are 1000/10. They were both excellent. Their acting was top-tier. Spoiler: but when they body swapped, they both became convincing of the other person. From their mannerisms nuances of facial expressions and overall delivery of the character you felt that they body swapped. Especially how they conveyed the differences of male and female body, Noble and peasant status and overall individual personality trait. On the flipside, the comedic timing from both was impeccable. They both delivered comedic elements without being cheesy or cringe. Now… The villain was villaining. Just when I thought I couldn’t hate him more he proved me wrong. The depth of his brutality was unmatched, and he nailed the unattached psychopath role. The pacing of this drama was well done. I didn’t feel that there were any dead episodes or wasted moments. It flowed in the right way to keep the story engaging but to not linger or over analyze on unimportant things. One thing I appreciated about the ending was they pasted properly? It did not feel like the ending was rushed, and we were able to enjoy moments of each person‘s lives after the main event.
