this story is so mature and beautiful)) I totally loved mythological chinese world sceneries, characters, and storygoing! great! stunning fantasy effects of gooddesses and gods appearing and using their powers! Music was magical! I like how traditional chinese instruments were used frequently and traditional sound)) the actors were amazing and chemistry was beautiful! I totally will rewatch it, since the ending is OK, and the whole series give me such calming and intriguing mode) 10/10 definitelly! wonderful fantasy wuxia))

one of the best wuxia drama series! It's marvellous! The story, the heroes, the MC, OST, action, backgrounds... everything just felt so great, sad, deep, beautiful and disasterfull! I like the MCs and their amazing personalities, they never annoyed with their actions and decisions and stayed up to their belief and will. I like the story going and great job of production for all effects and good managing of fights and martial arts movements. Wonderful series, though the ending leaves bitterness, I totally love it and would recommend to everyone, be it those who just start with Wuxia genre of chinese drama or those who already are fully going on it))) 10/10

just watch it dear and enjoy) each episode is beautiful and leads to another one graping the story and revealing characters and progression) the time will pass quickly, I finished it whole in 3 days cause it totally sucked me up with amazing cast, story, OST etc))

hm, it was fine, I expected much since everyone said it has similar vive as GO GO SQUID - which is my absolutely favorite drama now among new ones. But, this drama Love o2o wasn't so much as I expected after finishing Go go squid. Here we have a bit of unrealistic romance, acting is a bit overslowed on some scenes and leads - it was somehow awkward, and music is so so (except music in the game when they played! its 10/10). It was fine drama but not over 9/10. Though I liked game relations) it reminded me of my younger days when I was gamer~ now I am hyped for King Avatar where also starres Yan Yan^^

Go Go Squid is much better than Love o2o. Romance was more mature between leads, and story is realistic and meaningful. Backstories uninteresting? how? gosh o.o do you have heart at all? x.x filler scenes aren't many at all, and are placed at the right time and emotions of characters at the moment and are beautiful. really I wonder do nowdays watchers feel at all good stories...

recently BEST drama of Asia) for me ~ I am old watcher and I haven't been caught by some drama for a long time. This has it all - and the more - it IS ORIGINAL and unusual. along with Go Go Squid this drama A Journey to Meet Love = are best asian drama of 2019.) I recommend everyone to watch, and beside all you will find here, you'll learn alot about China's places, treasuers and trvelling) btw ML is astonishing <3 actor is perfect in portraying his chara!

I feel you)) though I liked all episodes xD I was so charmed by this drama so it was hard forme to pick out something new, and I couldn't find simmilar one. But I recommend you GO GO SQUID, if you didn't find anything, it succeeded to attach me after this beautiful A journey to Meet Love)

sorry but even more to be surprised if you are old watcher and saying such ridiculous things. o.o first of all - the old rule when watching drama, as old watcher you should know it - IF SOMETHING DIDN'T OCCUR TO YOU and IT OCCURS IN DRAMA, THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT IS RIDICULOUS or UNBELIVEABLE and BAD.
Second, it looks like you didn't pay attention to plot - cause if you did, you wouldn't say 'constantly running into completly UNRELATED criminals'. can you name how many times they DID acutally run into unrelated criminals on their journey? and, if you did watch you could understand that those FEW cases of running into unrelated was because of the criminals who did chase after them they needed to change their route completely so instead of safe places and tracing they were chosing 'unsafe' locations by default.
As an traveler who travels by hitchaking and with personal arrangement of journey and travel, accross Europe , i had simmilar experience. When you travel by your own pace, and chose not that known traces staying at not that known or old places there is a chance you could run into suspicious people or get unusual experience. When my friends were travelling Italy, early at morning they experienced real mafia clash in Neapoli and got caught up into situation. In other words, you can't say that what they experienced on the journey in this drama is ridiculous just cause you think it is, and you've never been in such situation. Be it China or other countries there are always suspicious and criminals and if you have on your tail already someone there is more chance you would run into unrelated ones cause of circumstances.
This drama showed reality. Because of urbanization and 'modern ' way of living, old roads and ways of travelling also places where travellers could stay with traditional leak is ceasing to exist it's vanishing. Because of that on those places and roads suspicious people find it fine to make their way through it. It shows, beside main plot line, trasures of one country such as China, and how are those neglected and should be visited by youngsters. Shows also that you should be always avare on journey, cause yeah China is colorful country, and in some places gangs and criminals really take its way (you have such cities and regions in every country almost, people always know which city for example you should avoid in USA, in Germany, in Italy, Russia etc).
I am also old asian drama watcher - 10+ years and I always tend to watch drama considering grading and quality by all standards and not being stuck on my personal view or experience in life.
This drama is absolutely real, it has great plot, unusual characters, beautiful chemistry, great sceneries, feelful music, meaningful story, and reasonable interraction between characters and development. I could point on some leacks when dealing with some situation, but again it's more my personal view of 'what I should do', cause they did it ok if looking from the perspective of protagonists and of their characters.
I advice you to try again, cause drama is really great and meaningful, but you shouldn't be stuck with your own personal view and look wider picture. :)

it's like reading webtoon or manhwa^^ light, funny, romantic, dramatic, beautiful and relaxing) the plot is interesting, the actors were great! and MUSIC just wins! it's simple, short but sweet) liked it and will rewatch for sure~ btw I sooo love those drawings in intro <3 like a fairytale^^

and what is ridiculous situation? XD you nowdays watchers are soo silly and interesting... if something didn't happen to you or you aren't like some of the characters you just automatically put it on the shelf - ridiculous. really.. T_T

great continuation on first season! great drama! recommend for all those who don't seek superheros, flashy fights of policemens, overboard creepy stupid hoollywood like murders and cases, and too much drama. THIS DRAMA ISN'T LIKE THIS. It's - Real. and show the nature of people who can't bear to fight for life and with life properly, but stray away misleading themselves that it is for their and other good. great cast too <3

I found one statement on the top review so stupid and ridiculous: ''the story is simple - a creepy killer Toremi''.. O.o wtf? SIMPLE? creepy? really audience nowdays are so funny childlish and ignorant of real life and of that what is simple and what is not. This drama is GREAT. Short, Real, On the point, Serious, Sad, Draamatic, Teachful. When you watch it till the end, you'll understand all for those who want to understand the whole tragedy of this story and the case. I get that nowdays for most of kids it's fun to watch detective mystery crime thrillers, but KIDS GROW UP. this is the real shit which happens somewhere and makes human world so ugly, though this Earth is so pretty. The story is complex, you can understand the killer at the end but it can't be forgiven. It also can't be forgiven for the police, but you can also understand them. The novice is talented but - novice. here you don't have superheros, dramatic leads with overgrowth drama or focus on some moment, here it's real life. life of good policemen and of psyhologicaly destroyed person... and you cna learn what to watch out. in most cases the closest people actually do harm to you. great cast! short but deep and it said everything. that's why I praize even more this drama.

I'll just say: FANTASTIC MYSTERY CRIME PSYHOLOGICAL THRILLER DETECTIVE! cast, story, music, developement, scenes, fights, plot, characters, atmosphere! = PERFECT! that's why i appreciate japanese detective thrillers above all because they are so real without too much drama pathetics etc, just naked humans and their psyhological impact on life which brings out crimes and on the other side people who are trying to put such people on the right track and ensure safety of citiziens but are also having obstacles of their own as trust, greed for the higher position, jealousy, selfpity, agony, obsession, loyality to laws which in some cases block the real truth etc.. greatly filmed great manga!

ohh it has been long since I watched good j-drama ^^ and this one is like that))) it has that great feel of japanese way of filming manga! amazing cast! wonderful music! and I like how they changed a couple of things comparing to manga since it wasn't too much but it had lead to unpredictable events and more interesting progress of the story))) I just have complaints about other couples >< since they were shown sooo little in drama :( and I wanted to see especially couple of fujoshi-chan and Arthur sensei moree but nvm) it was nice , light, hearwarming and the end was satisfying~

again field for comments just leaves you to wish for the best T_T. gosh, saying so many negative opinions about this AMAZING drama, I feel like the world nowdays really doesn't have a criteria of what's good or not, or is just the audience bad? o.o first of all, this isn't drama for teens and youngsters! this is for those who came to understand any colors of life (or those youngsters who experienced enough and understand a bit of life). What we see on the surface isn't almost in all cases what it is inside. And this drama perfectly showed it. The plot is interesting, and intriguing enough starting not that usual, also progressing in not that usual way (like in most dramas). The main point is not romance here so if you want kisses, fluffy or erotic scenes, go watch romance drama. This one is really subtle psyhological series with slice of life premise and romantic topic is strong but never overcoming. The main thing in this drama is interraction between various people: friends, work buddies, clients, lovers, enemies, family... Showing all sides of every character, ofcourse the accent is on leads and making them naked at the end in front of the watcher with all its + and - sides. Overcoming fears, complexes, regrets, wishes, hardcomings, responsibilities etc this is such drama. Showing PEOPLE and just PEOPLE) when you meet someone and think that the person is too cool, it never in most cases is that in utmost side, every such person makes facade so it can be recognized in society, but deep down actually fears of breaking down, so it's kind of psyhological self-defense. Also some who have too much pride or self-confidence can also easily break because they are too easily believeing that everything will be good for them. and some are totaly ignorant of other's feelings going just after their desires knowing that they can get it but not realising that they are hurting others... this drama gives so much in all aspects. you can see and learn from it so much. it makes you think about some things in life deeper and live with those characters. Music was astonishing! it went beautifuly with the air of series and atmosphere of the story, not overpointing any part of episode nor emotion. This is one amazing slice of life, with great comedy, but even greater psyhological point.
Romance topic was beautiful it was so strong coming out in every corner but because of that it was silent. Real romance real love has so many outcomes for everyone and for someone so mcuh time pass after they success to find their better half. Here the Romance is subtle beautiful unspoken but fierce it made characters to change themeselves completely, and it showed love in so many colors. I especially like that you don't have hollywood like eveil and good characters, this series are so real and all character has its reasons why they did bad or good things and what caused them to feel so. Also it showed learning on mistakes, and acutally progressing of each character taking look back on their actions and happening in their lives..
Everyone who wants to enjoy one mature drama in sense of relationships, in progressing of the story and revealing characters in all their sides who are representing in truth various kind of people and circumstanes which are called destiny - watch it! :)
also the ending was satisfying~ it just naturaly came of after all happened in the series. and I must say actors were absolutely astonishing!
will rewatch it for sure) 10/10
