I see- That's exactly how I feel about Mawang vs Maou. I never finished Maou because it felt too much of a shortened copy for me, I'm afraid, but I understand that it may be too draggy for you.I really liked Jo Ji Hoo's aura for this particular role. I am thinking of the new japanese version of kiss..as long as the heroine is not as silly, I just may be persuaded to watch it. Legal high is an excellent satire with an obnoxious main character whose arrogant but somehow also appealing, he generates the main interest here. That and the climatic point of the drama is unforgoettable.

Hi Edinaa! Sorry for the late response but I had to focus on my work. I had been very distracted by MDL so i fell behind a little so I had to catch up. Brain is not a bad drama to watch, mostly because of the main character, he's pretty interesting, the difficult type who learns to open up a little and understand what being a doctor may involve. there is a little bit of mystery, a touch of a love story (but the actress is terrible), but mostly it;s about the main character. How is your day, how are your dramas?

I don;t really have a favourite genre, I like when a story has a bit of everything, but I do seem to choose saeguks more frequnetly than other types of drama, although not niecessarily. I just go by :varety is the spice of life". :)

Hi Compay! It;s been a while! Watching a few. That winter the wind blows was all visually gorgeous with beautiful Jo In Sung bit a little uneven in terms of content. Tonbi is a very endearing family drama about a father and his son from the new ones, I also watched a couple of older dramas and am watching Brain currently. After Brain I will go for icarnation of Money. What aboit you? How are you? How is your drama front looking?

Sure I can do this but it;s going to be a 7 throighout, this drama will get 8 at most from me. I rarely ever rate eps. The drama has to be mindblowing for me to rate eps. Brain is good but not mindblowing for me, it doesn;t make me go crazy like some dramas do. Besides I didn't think rating episodes affected overall score? Anyway, I wouldn't get too worked up over this. Fans and anti-fans will rarely ever change.

will do :) I liked episode 10. the two of them genius neurosurgeons have a nice connection, as dramatic as it is. No matter what he says, it is clear LKH clearly remebers the face of the guy fro 20 years before. I don't really care much for anything else in this drama, though. but it's better than the other two medical-related dramas i;ve seen :)

Yes, I know lol. This kim soo ro is however a bt more charmibg because ji sung plays that character. Brain has an interesting lead character and one that is well portrayed. Don;t care much for the medical stuff at all, but the setting is of consequence to the story and ambitions of the lead. without this setting, the story wouldn;t be quite the same. Overall it's not mindblowing, but the main character is interesting.

not at all :) I may have hears something about this issue you mention and it is the main reason I will not watch it. I am open minded but within limits. Incest is a theme I am strongly against. I can only tolerate it in a movie and only if used for the sake of reverse psychology. But I believe there ar eplenty of other dark and twisty dramas, not everything is for everyone. :) Thank you for the warning, too :)

will do. So far so good. I don't particularly like the woman though. I keep rolling my eyes at her, she;s ditzy. I don't like the actress either, she;s little better than Lee Yeo Won in Surgeon Bong Dal Hee, unfortunately, but here at least she's not overdramatised as an udnerdog. I do like the storyline with Jung Ji Young's character. Shin Ha Kyung's character and Jung Ji Young seem to have an interesting fate, together, though he doesn't seem to want to admit that, it looks like he forgot perhaps. All the medical stuff is quite standard, though. But the characters are ralrey this interesting as Shin ha Kyung's is. And the more I look at him the more I think he s good looking, though he looks a little like a crossover between Lee Syung Gun and Cha In Pyo.

well, bratty princess isn't the worst I"ve seen either. I'd steer clear from Jade Palace and New Huan Zhu Ge Ge more than anything else. You are right, I like the character. Stripped from the medical aspect, he alone is interesting enough and developed enough to carry the story. I definitely think he's handsome. I do not like the woman, though. I didn;t like her much in Stars falling from the sky, I do niot like here here, but maybe her character at least will imprive over time. But Chin ha Kyung, whomm so far I"ve only seen in Joint Security Area, carries the character very well.

haha. yes, that's a feeling I get from Bratty Princess, that's chines productions from you. They can;t seem to get a lot of them right. I liked the legend of condor heroes from 2008 though. I felt hu ge made his character more sympathethic. In the meantime I got tired of saeguks. I"m wattching Brain. Should be better than Surgeon Bong Dal Hee, I hope.

^^ I hope so. I haven't watched many modern medical dramas. Just 1 or 2, so I"m not sure how I"m going to take it. It may be a good enough filler between dramas. Sometimes I am surprised. the dramas I expected to be good bore me, the dramas I didn;t give much credit to engage me.
