oh! That's interesting. Thank you for the heads up! I hope they won't spoil it. The series was excellent. I am curious, though, what they will come up for this one. Also..my google translation said it would have something to do with gates lol. But jokes aside, do you think it;s going to be a continuation of the story?

rarely ever makes me laugh out loud. Even Salaryman, which I found insanely entertaining Well, Legal High I did find super hilarious. Have you seen it? It's a little gem of a drama for me at least, very refreshing. That being said, my apologies for such obscenely long messages. I really hope you don't mind.

All this led me to believe it was a very fitting ending. As for That Fool: well romcoms happen to be a genre which you either take or leave depending on your mood, taste and viewpoint. I enjoyed That Fool because I like a guy who is good and reliable and has a very optimistic outlook. Granted, sometimes he was on the verge of being a noble idiot but not really. He's not stupid, he choses to believe the best about people. This scenario is nothing new-Notting Hill recycled but to be honest if I have a choice between hugh Grant playing Hugh Grant and being ridiculously annoying with his blinking eyes and between Hwang Jeong Min, whose acting resonates with me inasmuch as he seems to very naturally slide into his roles and make them convincing, the choice is simple. And I had fun seeing Baek's interactions with her brother, the two made me genuinely laugh- the humour in Korean dramas

to pay for his greed and ambition. But at the same time - what is wrong with radio dramas? He can make a success out of it too. And even more benefits since he'll be catering for also fairly large audience who can't see. I think the ending we got is framed quite well- the opening speech vs closing speech do show a genuine contrast. Besides the way you put it return from the dead is actually symbolical too, for him. Yes, he killed a man but then at the end when he suffered the accident himself his motivations were already a little changed. That's why I think it fair to give him a chance to work and live, rather than let him the easy way out and escape by death. Besides, he can still be entrepreneurial: he found a niche for himself that also has a more altruistic slant to it and can in the future let him become "a king" again. It's different, indeed, but his values also changed

Hi! Thank you for your friend request, it's nice to meet you. Yes, the site has been a little buggy lately. I think it's because of server transfer going on recently. As for the hospital scene: I thought it was mishandled at the beginning too. But actually, defibriliation (my mom's a cardiologist) is more complicated than that and usually even after 9 or ten schocks, the doctors won't leave for three minutes because during the three minutes there is a chance that the heart beat will return. And today I also read a story about a man proclaimed dead, two hours passed&he; was already at the point of post-mortem, when he woke up. Things like that can happen, it's not at all completely unrealistic "to return from the dead" However, I can understand your point of view He's not the same anymore and doesn't seem to have quite as much "power". It's a certain price

ah! I'm sorry to hear about your hard disks. I had issues with computer initially too but thats becase it was overheating. I was on a break from dramas for two months myself but that's because I fell into a serious drama slump but things picked up now and I have finally been able to watch things again. Well Chinese New year is right behind the corner. I"m glad to see you are around and will be around more after you can watch things again. Looking forward to your insights from new dramas :)

sure will, I'm curious what LSg is up to now. He's quite a nice actor, certainly promising to have even better leading role qualities in the future, but My girlfriend is a Gumiho was a lot of fun, so I just hope this one won't end up pale in comparison.

Title The King of Dramas Spoiler
He should've died :/
I actually thought at first he should go to Florida. But later I had a discussion about it and in the end i thought- that would have been an easy way out too, perhaps sugary too. It was of greater meaning that he lost thatchance. What I thought of later was how sight and its loss tend to be associated with living a lie, living a fictional life, which is what this man did: he constructs himself until he admits he lied and begins being more truthful. Characters may lose sight at a moment where they lie for the first time, or if persist in a morally wrong situation which they can no longer recognize. In this case losing sight at once signifies a start of living more honestly. He has been an escapist character all his life, he is now starting to live in reality in which nothing is as perfect as he wanted others to believe and where he has to see using other senses, such as hearing

death is not the only kind of ending that has artistic merit. Death isn't always the most logical answer either. why should he die? What would be gained if he died?

interesting. Why do you think so? I think that would have been an easy way out. The way it has been solved is actually more difficult for the character who is on a road to redemption. I think if you consider the theme of blindness going through the drama in various forms more closely, this ending really can be appreciated more. This ending is far from being cliched. Granted, the hospital scene that followed the accident was a little mishandled but it can be put down to the drama wanting to be excessively dramatic in the last minute, following established standards, which I find acceptable in a drama that offers a comments on drama making. They could have used more screen time to wrap it up properly especially that particular scene. But I don't think he should have died without a chance to work hard to redeem himself in his present circumstances and

But then he goes and finds a niche for himself and the viewer may expect that he may actually be successful in this as well, since he is essentially targeting what is also a fairly large audience of those who cannot see, which is certainly something that can bring him benefits in many way- because he would be also drawing attention to the problems of the blind being left behind in an era of technology which relies on seeing but which at once hurts sight and imagination too since we are dealing with finished products hence his final speech about imagination was great - sound incites imagination in itself and after all radio dramas are like reading. Again what contrast between the opening power speech and the ending speech- two different people. But indomitable spirit: making meaning of the troubles haunting his life- he started making dramas why? and then he started radio dramas why? .

which grounds him even more in this discourse of seeing vs non-seeing. For some Conradian characters, for instance, blindness comes about at a timwe when they lie and start living in a lie, sometimes it is a lie caused by being estranged from ones they love and so they take on that lie for their benefit, even though the loved ones may be only interested in their money and nothing else, and so blindness becomes really tragic for them, especially if they are seamen. In Anthony's case it becomes, or at least suggests a hope, especially because he has someone to depend on from now on. But it's clever here too: the story is Lee's initiation into mature and independent writing, of sorts, whle for Anthony it becomes an initiation into something else and a reverse journey, a fall from his throne that he cannot ultimately redeem because of his blindness.
