Hello Farah! How are you? So, have you picked up Arang? I love happy endings if I can get them too. But I am afraid lately I am not at all into Korean dramas, something seems to keep me off them I think I may eventually get round to picking something japanese, but in general my drama mood is permanently off for the moment, I can;t focus on any drama I try to pick up and am also busy myself.

Hello compay, not sure I replied to your last message as I have been drowned in other things and am still struggling with my computer. haha, you know the remakes are like that and I do get the point about preferentiality of mind- the one you watch first will usually take preference to the second version of the same story. I try to find good points in things I watch, after all these are soap operas, so I can't expect them to be cinema of moral anxiety lol perhaps i sometimes overdo it, but right now still am not inspired to pick up any drama..especially korean ones, something snapped in me and now I'm totally not into korean dramas at all, at least for the moment. I think I may pick up the new japanese ones, however. As soo as i fix computer. So did you pick up a blockbuster, then? :)

Above Nodame Cantabiel we have Rich man poor woman, another j romance story. Next to My girlfriend is a Gumiho - to its right I have a scene from the King2Hearts, Below MGIAG there is Jumong, a big saeguk and then The Princess Man to its right. At the bottom, next to Queen Inhyun;s man I have a scene from Jejoongwon :)

As for English, naa, I was just pointing out that it;s not bad to soeak only in English from time to time :) I don;t see you having any problem with that on here so I was a bit surprised, and I don't think you'd have any problems with that :-) That's all, I can well udnerstand that it can be annoying with other heavy stuff on your mind but I hope things are going well for you...and YAY, UTW as an ADMIRAL, good, these roles are suitable for him :D

Hello Farash! Lovely to hear from you! Still in a bit iof a drama slump in the sense that I don't feel like watching anything korean nor japanese. I watched a chinese romance instead, not the best and as per usual many errors- Chinese writers and producers seem to be very negligent- but certainly not as bad as Jade palace, even though characters here were annoying most of the time, there were still a few that i liked so it somehow balanced it out. Somehow I wanted to watch the story unfold, there were many things there...even if they were mostly done to generate more romance. And then even romance between my favourites was somehow mishandled and ending was cut short and somehow scrambled together in a very hasty an careless manner dso it felt very rushed. What are you up to these days? School has started,, you're likely busy?

Thanks :) Mirichan, I was going to watch the drama anyway because of Sakai Masato. but thank you Well I found the movie ridiculous because of the premise of selective illness- there is none such thing. I am expecting the drama to explain it, but I will wait until a few episodes air. How are you?

I don't think, to be honest, I am always very rational in my own dramas, as much as I try to be, you just made me think about it with your analysis, but then it cannot be avoided. there is a number of factors which determines an enjoyment and subsequent :liking" and thus partly "fanbgirling" of a given drama.

Intimidated or not bother :) but you are correct, I think I exaggerated and that's a very rational and respectable analysis. I will still rewatch it one day see ig I change my mind then and choin ther other group. I'm glad you liked it, yes I thought they did in fact screw the ending. I just finished watching this big Chinese romance drama- New Huan Zhu Gege, a remake of the older ones. both versions were problematic but both also offered some good points. I could speak a lot about what such dramas mishandle. They always try to do too much, and though they try to be careful, they end up being really careless in handling plot, sometimes just for the sake of melodrama. It seems that just when they think they are clever, the leave a plot hole or cut something which could have been explored more and misuse the potential of a story in this way.

Yes, As One was enjoyable. I like the friendshio across boundaries theme and it was well done.

yes, i didn't really like personal taste the problem with faith is that it;s written by a good scriptwriter so i'm still wondering whether to watch it or not, even despite my dislike for LMH. BBF was somehow all right, even the main actress there was somehow all right, but the story itself is objectionable in many ways, but still somehow it's the sort of drama many start with their drama experience and somehbow the first time it works lol. Haven;t seen that yet but it was recommended by some other MDL friends so will get round to it eventually. Did you like it?

Fair review,.though frankly, this one I didin't find convincing because it doesn't tell me much why I should or shouldn't watch it. As for the drama itself, personally, I found the plot atrocious, badly written with such a poor, contrived idea that I gave the drama a 1. I want to forget about this drama, in fact I am thinking of removing it from my completed lists. It had left a very bad taste in my mouth. its hard to call hat a suspense plot, the writer just didn't know what they were doing, one of the worst drama i've ever seen. I*n fact, the writer just doesn't know how to write, the characters were silly, the main lead firl was annoying, Jessica too. Let alone the contrivance of Oh Man Suk's character. Cheesy, bad and contrived, that's what this drama. I guess you could say I strongly disliked it. lol. Also, good luck with the programs, hope they will be of use to you! :)

thank you, yes, I got tired of korean dramas for a while and will soon get back to japanese dramas, your enthusiasm is encouraging :D I'd watch it sooner or later since I want to watch all japense dramas which won best story and best drama award. though sometimes these rewards are so off the mark...there are dramas which never deserved awards and those which miossed them by a fair point or two.
