indeed. I think that Koo Hye Sun is also partly to blame for that artificiality. I really don't find her appealing. I think they needed the romance to try and up the ratings. They really should try and do something they believe would be right rather than what they believe will sell. I think resorting to that shows a lack of confidence.

As for friends, I do not really believe in friendshipo, unless in circles such as MDL where we have a strong common interest. I;ve been disappointed far too many times to believe in friendship. People use that concept to self-promote and that's it. But perhaps there is one or two that have less interest in being friends..but then they are away and busy with their own lives. Friuendship is quite a myth, it turns out. But there are good colleagues with whom you can have fun while it lasts and that can be used to learn things so I hope you can use that time well :) Mirichan you're very sweet though :-) I appreciate your encouragement :-)

Hana Yori Dango is very good, actually I watched hana yori before i watched BBF. Oh, I agree about the actor but I couldn't take the humour for some reason. In the sense that it's not just some fluffy romance (Take Care of Us Captain is in turn and it's REALLY bad) rather the drama shows love as a factor in their lives.

I have rewatched this drama again and upped its rating. I have watched it many times now and it doesn't get old. The more I watch it the more I appreciate the nuances of quirkiness between Shibasaki and Kimutaku and the silient sufferings of the other two characters, plus I love more and more Koda and shinkai and how they both learn from one another.

You hate romance, fair enough. But why does her job annoy you? It's an interesting occupation for a female, for one and for the second it has undelrying motivation and she is trying to be strong. And romance here is just a side dish anyway, so what she ends up with Shinkai, good for both of them, besides it stands for hopeful beginnings more than anything else in this case.

Seems like Boys over Flowers was a first drama for a lot of people but I since recovered from its effect, especially because I have a low tolerance for Lee Min Ho and the lead actress from there.
