Mishil IS the perfect anti-hero and the perfect foil. I love to hate her. You;re quite right Yeona, she is an ingenious character, very well written. And when I kept writing I hate her, well but that;s because she begs to be hated, but that;s her brilliancy. I love to hate her and I do admire her. Well I'm 20 episodes away from the end and it looks now the real warpath begins for our tiger Deokman and dragon Mishil.

Ok so Mishil and Deokman had a very interesting conversation on that mountain. Impressive women of power in dialogue, very nice. I still do not approve of the way Bidam is thinking. I may understand where it is coming from, but he is not a character I would be willing to trust very easily..still.

She's a really good actress, great for playing powerful women >>Deokman.

haha. It's coming in a matter of days now :P The problem is August seems like another month full of dramas to check out,lol. This sounds interesting, I may check it out.

The synopsis is very vague...and there no details to be found anywhere as of yet...but I'll add it to PTW lists for now, it;s probably going to be the first drama related to ships lol. So is it going to be the One True Korean Plot transferred to ships this time?

the confrontations between Mishil and Deokman are actually very interesting to watch. I like Mishil's raising eyebrow. By the way, are you watching the Olympics?

80 Episodes? Are they MAD? This looks like a remake of wild romance. the korean version was bad, but maybe this can be more enjoyable.

haha, i hear you. I don't go by ratings or popularity either. Sometimes people rate down a really good drama - I am not one to trust people's taste when I have my own. What I like to do is to have a look at fragments from various parts of a complete series and then decide it those various parts , usually the beginning, some parts in the middle and the ending, make me want to invest myself in a drama. I know the problem, I have over 100 titles on my ptw list too but i am revising it, some of the things aren;t really so interesting me, but i sometimes tended to go on an adding spree before. now i need to respect my time more lol and add reasonably but houskeeping the ptw lists is also something which makes me reconnect with dramas after a break.

:P it's become very trendy around here so there loads of sushi type restaurants.

I saw some discussion on the subject at viki. Mishil is mentioned only in the Hwarang Segi manuscript that this drama is based on. The Hwarang Segi manuscripts is actually said to be a subject of controversy among scholars of early Korea and Korean studies. Most scholars think of this as a forgery. So, her existence is uncertain and drama scriptwirters thus had the freedom to do anything they wanted with her, though she is what she could have been really like, I think, given the nature of court intrigues and struggle for power.

lol. so what are you going to watch? not yet, but I want to see at least some of the episodes with my favourites., like Lee beom Seo. I never seem to have the time for variety shows.

good luck conquering more school :) things are going quite well, i've been away for a time. Now I'm catching up with my dramas, and the first one is Queen Seon Duk. It's a completely absorbing story. How's your drama watching these days?

I don't think I will watch it, and I hear it's actually one Hong sister drama that gets low ratings among MDL-ers. Apparently it wasn't quite what people were expecting. i don;lt think I will ever suffer from lack of dramas to watch, so chances are I will never watch this but somehow I don;t feel it's a must see :D Hard to believe that the 2012 drama season will be sson nearing its end, it feels like there has been an oitburst of dramas this year. How did you like Rooftop? I am not a particular fan of it, but I do appreciate how they handled the ending, I liked what they did as it was not exactly straight forward.

haha.I also didn;t want to be in poland during the EURO, though you know what- foreigners finally learned what is the national dish of Poland then. Sushi... XD

I like Kim Min Myung, apparently he is coming back this year with a new drama called "king of Dramas lol. But it's from the producer who produced take care of us captain, so...plus it will be another drama entitled "let's reveal the process of drama production", there are already two dramas like it. I have Beethoven in my Plan to watch lists too, but I have others dramas to watch first. Did you watch Rondo yet? I wonder how you like it.
