I think it works. If you have read the comic, it's random as shit when it comes to the story and even history. It makes since they would completely change the cast for a new season.
From the looks of this, it will cover the first 3 volumes or so and most likely end after Yori interrupts the wedding scene for the movie they are working on and confesses is love to Shizuku. Subaru and Yori basically have a friendly love rivalry going on. The later volumes introduce this douchebag guy who tries to steal Shizuku from Yori and he's way worse than Subaru is. Though we probably won't see him in the movie. Man, I wish stories like this got tv shows instead of movies so it's not condensed to hell and we can get the whole story if its not super long. This is only 5 volumes.
It's not. Basically this asshole guy who also went to highschool with them feeds on her insecurity and convinces her being in a relationship with the main guy would be too tough. Eventually the main guy lets her go and while she does date the other guy, she's still in love with the main guy. Idiots call it NTR because she does sleep with the other guy, but it's not at all.
I remember reading the manga a few years ago but I dont think the movie is that good. Like many other japanese…
Totally agree. I really wish they would stop with the movies and do tv dramas as well then they could properly follow the story instead of condensing it. Especially this series considering its 24 volumes.
Nisekoi is one of those stories where I would have been okay if he had ended up with either girl.
Though, they put some commitment into Chitoge's look. I wish more live adaptations did that.
