Wait! XY has been waiting for TJ for 70 years? If he was still YSQ I will understand because he had no means of protecting himself not to talk of protecting WX. His brother has proven that he wants no reconciliation whatsoever and will continue to go down the dark path. ( why should he be the one to pay for his mother’s sins? They were both children then and TJ has apologized enough). The relationship between CX and XY is priceless. It will really be a blessing to have that in real life. I can’t get enough of the scene where XY protected CX, it felt so real! ( I was overwhelmed with all kinds of emotions. I had to pause several times to get through that scene). FFB’s intro was to die for. He has such expressive eyes that keeps dragging you in. Oh and his voice! I loved his costume too. In fact, I love all their costumes.
The final scene of ep 31 where Song Yan called Xu Qin “honey” and hugged her sent chills down my spine. And they didn’t fall in love for real filming this show?
Is Xu Chin’s salary so small that she can’t afford to buy a car without her parents help? Hmmmmmm I feel so bad for the other doctor (As if it wasn’t enough that the patient’s family was reluctant in getting her the surgery, she lost her life and now they are trying to get compensated). Can you imagine! The mother-in-law saying “ she has not given birth yet so they shouldn’t spend that amount of money on her”
Song Yan a Song Yan!!! “My heart is itching” lol I love Xu Qin’s smile in the Zhai house. It took just a change of environment and the right people to to brighten her mood. It’s funny how her parents think she is only meant to live lavishly, sometimes it’s the simplest things in life that makes us happy.
ML keeps telling FL whatever happened in the past should remain in the past but I believe they won’t be able to move on without talking about it. FL has seen what a true family should be like thanks to ML and I believe she knows her family ain’t it. I hope she finds the courage to stand up to her family.
Omg! I paused in the middle of episode 24 to post this comment. Am going to hold off on watching episode 25 for as long as I can, I am not ready to let go yet. Outstanding performance from the lead actors.
