I really like that we are seeing more portayals of capable women. A Moment But Forever and this one both show women great at crafting. If I compare with women in other shows, this is great. For me it is enough to enjoy.

Superb performance by Ai Mi. For me she carries the whole drama. I am just looking forward to every next episode.

I don't like the actor who plays the Grand Tutor. His expressions are awkward.

I watched it on viki when it aired and had no problem with the quality watching on my laptop. Of course if you watch on a big screen, quality of today is better.

I think youtube shows lesser quality if not paid for.

You mean 78 episodes of MingLan... a lenghty but good one.

I like watching this actor too. He is very good with emotions. Very expressive.

I would prefer the drama to be shorter and just skip these annoying misunderstandings or not telling things directly to the one you love. Is this still being used to stretch and strech. I am so tired of it that it's boring. First half was quite good. Second half seems like lot of fillers.

So many trolls here, just report and block.

This is obviously a troll and should be reported.

Then again the life back then was much rougher. People matured and aged much earlier. No way to put a nowadays 20 year old to shoulder these emotions. You need experience of life, in my opinion.

That I look forward to! Thank you for the heads up!

Thank you, that's something to look for.

First half was quite entertaining. Now I am not so invested anymore with everyone scheming and hiding. I am also a bit tired of this staring look of the FL. The acting range is a bit limited. When will the FL and ML get together again after their separation?

How can they still write dramas where everyone dies without meaning. Someone must have a death wish.

I think I'll have to pass on this one.

Ji Ling's character is quite interesting and Tian Jia Rui plays it well. I am enjoying the second half of the drama more than the first half. And I find all the characters interesting, maybe one of GJM traits that I like.

The intresting thing is that still after all this time I remember it. It made a lasting impression. And someone mentioned the flute! Yes, indeed masterful. The characters were not very likable (to me), but it doesn't need to be. Leaving a lasting impression is also an achivement.

Intresting, Xin Zhi Lei. Nice to see again. Chen Kun. Gao Wei Guang. Seasoned actors, sounds definitely interesting.

Ep 21 is my favorite so far. I really liked the story of Pomgranate.
