The best subs though not perfect are to be found on the dvd version of the drama. That's where I watched it years ago. And I still remember it. It made such a strong impression on me. Sun Li surely has all the credit.

The highlights are the acting of Zhou Dong Yu and Liu Xue Yi. They have such charisma.

If you like more Hollywood, you can watch that in stead. I no longer watch Hollywood because I don't like it anymore, especially the kind of relationships. To each their own. Then again, not every drama is worth it. Some are just reiterations of old tropes. But from time to time a pearl emerges with a good director/scriptwriter.

(Posted comment on wrong place, sorry)

If drama is male centric, all females fall for the ML, and vice versa. Just watch what you like.

I'm still watching this drama (I was afraid it would be one of these dramas that become very draggy midway). What I appreciate most: there are no triangles, no missunderstandings and problems get solved quickly. As I am craving more for a wuxia, I am watching one episode Blossom, and one episode Dashing Youth. They complement very well. What one lacks has the other, wuxia on one hand, power CP on the other (mho).

The chinese title is more poetic, but probably too long for an english title: Thousands of peach blossoms bloom in a lifetime

It's a pity the opening ost is removed. I liked that a lot. But I'm greatful it is awailable now. (I once dropped it halfway, but I am now finishing it).

That is really great, thank you.

At least, this drama is good to watch one episode at a time in between others that aren't that great either.

I don't like this makeup on Meng Zi Yi. It looks so manga. She is pretty otherwise

I was not supposed to wach this, as I am more craving for a wuxia. And after watching the double and kill me love me, I was tired of the genre. But it has a really strong beginning. And I like the FL since The Untamed. Will see if it keeps my interest a bit longer, or if it goes to my already long list of dramas to watch while doing my work out (I still try to finish dramas even if I've lost interest halfway).

I'm referring to Ep 26-27. By the way, a crush would have been ok. But this was something else.

Why did they make Zhuo Yi Chen fall in love with Wen Xiao...that was so unnecessary...I would have preferred a bond of friendship with Great Demon only. I didn't appreciate this trope. So boring.

I wonder too...

While others might find it too slow, I find it poetic. So, I'm enjoying this drama. And I never skip the ending, it just feels good.

Guo Jing Ming, the director.

I watched the White Cat Legend and his face is a whole story, it's just entertaining to watch this person act.

I like their little dance at the end!

I think regardless of the ending, they found each other and had their happy time in the village. They knew they had to go on with their plans, but at least they spent some time happily together, which is already good. My complaint is with the very poor writing of the Xiyan arc. It was not convincing at all, that emperor was retarded more than a lover of mysticism. The Crown Prince on the other hand was acted very well, good actor.
