Romanticizing SA

The second half was genuinely hard to watch. Flint’s behavior did not read as confident, sexy, or intense to me. It read as controlling. “I don’t like people messing with what’s mine” is not a hot dom line. You do not own another person. No one is saying women cannot be abusive or that stories cannot portray that. The problem is the framing. This is a romance, and romance has built-in emotional language that pushes the audience to root for the couple and read tension as chemistry. So when you put coercive behavior inside the central love story without clear condemnation, consequences, or lasting fallout, it stops being realism or awareness and starts being romanticized by the narrative itself.Sun saying no all episode also did not feel like organic character writing. It felt like the script was creating resistance specifically so Flint could push past it. At that point, it stopped feeling like two women falling in love.At this point, I think the series may be doomed for me, but I am still watching to see how they try to frame or mitigate this. Right now, though, this does not feel like romance. It feels like the show does not know the difference between intensity and violation.

Cuteness Overload

Be My Angel Ep. 6Somehow... this series got even cuter? I didn't think that was possible, but here we are. It's still cheesy, sweet, and goofy — and honestly? I am completely here for it. Jane and Z's chemistry keeps building and the cuteness just compounds on itself. Episode after episode, this show has me grinning like an idiot.Be My Angel is genuinely unlike anything else in the girl love space right now. It's an innocent, adventurous YA romance delivering cuteness overload, all the feels, and sweet kisses galore. FINALLY.Now, the pacing could be a little smoother — the plot momentum isn't perfect. But it's moving just fast enough to keep me invested in both their relationship and the mystery of who Z actually is.With only 2 episodes left, I am fully committed to Jane and Z. I need to see how their story ends. 🥹

This Thai GL Hits Different

Alright, this series is just super cute.Goofy heavy handed sound effects aside, I can say I'm genuinely enjoying it.The premise and storyline isn't the most intriguing but I am invested in solving the mystery of who Z might really be. Not sure what they'll gain from it but I am here for it.I'm digging the chemistry between the two and I'm hoping we get a little more than fall kisses between them lol.I love Z's character so much. Sweet adorable little angel. And Jane grows on me more and more as this ice queen melts. This Thai GL is unique and different and brings a different energy to the space and I like it.Itching to see more of Kaewta 😮‍💨 and her villainous character.I love how Z just started wailing on old dude whooping that ass lol. This series is starting to pick up and I'm looking forward to Episode 5 where we might start to get some answers.

Worth the noise

Be My Angel comes in hot with one very specific problem: the sound effects. It's a lot. Like, a LOT. Heavy-handed doesn't even cover it. It honestly feels like you're sitting next to someone playing Sonic the Hedgehog. Distracting enough to make you check out before the show even gets a real chance. But if you can push through? There's actually a really cute series hiding underneath all that noise.Jane is a brat. Pretty, but mean as hell. Her character hasn't won me over yet, but we're only two episodes in so I'll give it time. What I can't fully get behind yet is the whole "who is Z?" mystery. The pull to find out just isn't landing for me so far. That said, we got a kiss in episode 2 👏🏾 and honestly? I like it. It's cute, it's early, and the potential is definitely there.

Came for the Masc Rep Stayed for the Cuteness

This rom com fantasy has premium production value and a solid first episode that exceeded my expectations. The outfit design is brilliant. Thematic without being overt and costume-y. Z arrives dressed in a stylish yet angelic white jean jacket, while the villain is clad in devilish red boots. Love that attention to detail. We're introduced to Jane, a very naive, dramatic, and impatient girl whose expectations are a bit too high. I have a feeling this heaven-sent angel will ground her, ironically. And Z? Naive in her own innocent way, knows just about nothing, and it's pretty cute ngl. This series is even cuter than I thought it would be. Z's adorable innocence is a treat to watch. It's giving melting ice queen vibes. The soft sweet masc rep 👏🏾 Also love that the masc is the soft baby.Super goofy. Fun episode and a good setup for the series going forward. Looking forward to seeing more!

Wow

All I can say is wow. Love Design is quickly shaping up to be one of the best Thai GLs this year. The storytelling is solid, the production value sleek, and the cinematography and acting are both top-tier. The pacing feels steady and intentional, allowing the chemistry between the leads to build naturally. What really stands out is the writing — the story is genuinely beautiful. Their shared love of art, design, and loss bridges the emotional gap introduced in Episode 1. By the end of Episode 3, we see a stunning and heartfelt romantic shift take place — one that feels earned, delicate, and deeply satisfying.Love Design is polished, romantic, funny, and emotionally grounded — easily one of this week’s top series.
