Just because there is cruelty and hopelessness doesn't mean the movie is bad. Y'all really think that everything is rosy and don't even consider that in the reality we live in there will always be situations like the one in the movie or even worse.

The movie has a good plot, whether you didn't like it because the brutality is extreme is your personal consideration. But don't pretend that your tastes should be universal. "If I didn't enjoy it, no one should."

The world is not rosy and you should know that by now. The story of this movie is nothing compared to what I've seen and here you are crying because your unicorn world fell apart.

The situations in the movie happen in real life and I'm afraid they could even be worse. The world is not only good. There will always be thousands of news about violence and injustice.

Good-looking folks can also suffer, so your point about cruelty and beauty makes no sense.

If the movie was not for you because you are sensitive to brutal themes, why did you choose to watch it without reading the tags? Don't complain about being wet if you stand in the rain.
