Exactly! The acting and the direction was awesome! Some of the best I have came across, but the story fell flat in the later stages. Little to no character development for the side characters, plus trashy pace in the later half.

Yes Linan village was nice, but I found it draggy too. It felt useless to make that arc 20 episodes long, I lost interest in Xie Zhang's actual identity through all that. I wish they showed Ningning with the rest of the cast towards the end. Those were the most wholesome moments for me. My problem with this is all on script level.

With Zhang Linghe's and Zhai Xiao Wen's dramas airing at the same time, I cannot help but think about this. Please don't make me wait 800 years for this

This whole series and franchise were a disappointment. The only thing I liked was Liu YuNing singing the opening song of this.

I think I liked TBOY better, still waiting for season 2. I was hoping this would have filled out some void.

My ratings are not very consistent, but as long as I rate it above 5, I like it.

The fighting scenes have too much special effects and CGI; they ruined the beauty of the movements. It's ruined for me.

For me it was a drama straight for cameos. The star-studded cast each had their moment and heartbreaking ones, but seemed very incomplete overall.
