read the novel. rated R. although in the novel I hated jinghe till the end ( had no redeeming quality) I enjoyed the story till the end although I was super disappointed in FL loving him despite his post treatment of her. And when I say poor I mean cruel and brutal. I found the English version of the novel online for free. just Google it

I agree. it is a flop for me. I don’t know why in c drama no matter how despicable the ML is to FL, the FL forgives and ends up with him. I mean come on. he made a woman stay with him knowing back then reputation was everything. that was ruthless. I didn’t find their love refreshing. just a manipulative man with a smart but dumb FL.
